High Charges for Lease Termination Fees

Checked in without any assistance, it's like a self-service hotel. Haven't encountered a single staff member in 11 months! There are swarms of flies outside, and despite attempts, the gaps near the windows remain unresolved, allowing a constant influx of flies into the room, which is nauseating! They charge exorbitant fees upon termination of the lease! Once again, attempts to contact staff have been fruitless. They seem indifferent and only active when it comes to demanding money! I strongly ...

Great security and customer service but...
May 31, 2023
The staff and security are great at this property as well as the location. However, once spring hits birds will chirp around the high trees they built. Along with that, if your an avid work out person the cardio room equipment breaks and takes forever to fix. They only have two treadmills and one has been out of commission for awhile now. Residents will walk in the middle of the road in the community when cars are driving around like they own the place.

Completely Different
November 28, 2021
I saw the pictures of Verandas, went to tour and it was completely different from the nice pictures. In fact, it is the complete opposite. You will encounter smelly apartment rooms, nasty(uncleaned) restrooms and stained carpet. Laundry/dryer is old, and the leasing office lady does not welcome you in a genuine way. You should go elsewhere to make your monthly money worth.

As a first time renter the Verandas apartment complex provided great customer service to help the move proceed smoothly. Once the day of move in approached they provided my gf and I with a mini goodie bag and showed us around. The pricing is pretty average and I would recommend this place to anyone. If you commute the Bart station is right across the street and if you are heading to SJ there are busses and the train near by as well. The complex has a nice mini gym if you don't have time to go on ...
your own and the pool is very relaxing. The place is secure with a gate and I would fully recommend these apartments to anyone.

This is a nice peaceful place, which is right in front of Union City BART station. You get the peace of living in the suburbs with most joints within 5-6 miles distance. If you are looking for convenience to travel to South Bay or San Francisco city this is the place for you. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly with the maintenance staff very prompt on resolving the requests.
