“We put in grey vinyl floors now pay premium prices”
May 23, 2025Have to park half way across the complex most nights. Trash is piled behind dumpsters instead of in them. Carpet smells bad. Mold in A/C system. Very outdated and poorly built/maintained buildings. All of that and very overpriced.Property Manager Responded

Great community
May 12, 2016Verandas on the Green is one of the premier rental communities in Aiken. I have lived here 3 years and I love it here. Such a peaceful community and well kept community. One thing you will enjoy is the peace and quiet. Everyone n the office is amazing and delighted to help you. It helps with paying rent and contacting maintenance whenever you need something fixed. they are always professional and friendly. Not to mention i feel like I got away with a steal on the floorplan. August 21, 2015Me and my roomate have lived here for a year, and just signed another year lease. We attend USC Aiken and this complex is great for us! We love how close it is to the university and it's a great price. We enjoy the people around us and the office staff. They are always helpful and respond to our work orders in a timely manner. The Verandas on the Green
August 8, 2015The staff is nice, but takes a very long time to respond to calls. In addition, if maintenance has to come out, they will, but not actually fix the wrong problem. On my move in day, they came to fix the toilet and did not fix the problem. Also, the apartment smelled like pet odor and there were minor spots on the floor. The apartments are older, but not well maintained. Also, the light fixtures are in horrible places. Plus, the fire alarms are very sensitive and the lady refused to let us out of ...the lease even though the place was clearly not livable because of plumbing issues and bugs. The Verandas, however, does have nice amenities such as a pool and laundry center. This does not make up for the problems. By the way, the apartment was off the market for a month and they did not fix anything apparently because they could not even get a pet smell out. The apartments are big, but out of date and not kept up the staff clearly.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
