March 2, 2026? 1 Star – Completely Unacceptable Management & Maintenance Living at Vernazza Apartments has been extremely frustrating due to the complete lack of communication and urgency from management. Calling the office is pointless — no one answers the phone, and getting any kind of response is nearly impossible. The elevator has been out of service for 5 DAYS, and residents have received ZERO updates. No timeline, no explanation, no communication at all. This is beyond unacceptable, especially for ...elderly residents, families with children, and anyone living on higher floors who depends on the elevator daily. What makes this even worse is the lack of transparency. Management has not provided any notices, follow-ups, or accountability. It feels like tenants are being completely ignored while still paying full rent for substandard living conditions. Basic maintenance and communication should be the bare minimum in any apartment community. Leaving residents without an elevator for over a week with no updates shows a serious lack of professionalism and concern for tenant safety and well-being. If you’re considering moving here, be aware that when issues arise, you may be left without answers or support. Extremely disappointed with how poorly this situation has been handled.Property Manager Responded

We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this situation caused and understand how disruptive the elevator outage was. The delay in repairs was due to a vendor-related issue that required specialized parts and scheduling outside of our direct control. Our team worked closely with the vendor to expedite the process. We also recognize that communication during this time did not meet expectations. Updates are shared as soon as confirmed information is available, but we acknowledge there were gaps and are actively improving how we provide timely follow-up moving forward. look at apartment before you sign!!
October 30, 2024Before you turn the electric on and sign the lease make sure you look at apartment that’s all I have say my family members didn’t look and now they have a apartment with lots of issues and roaches so before signing make sure you look at the exact apartment your getting… look at it!! We saw alot of damage, stove has burner marks that looks damage, stuff isn’t working ….. looks gorgeous on the outside but the apartment once he signed it and entered the apartment it looked beat up !! Nothing like ...the model…scuff marks on floor too!Property Manager Responded

January 1, 2024Before leasing with Vernazza ask to see the unit you will be moving to before signing the lease agreement. The apartment that was shown to my husband and I did not represent the apartment that was given to us on move in day. Our experience was terrible as the apartment had a rusty dishwasher, old burned stove with faded dial markers and 1 on the stove rings didn't even turn on. There was cobwebs in the fan and ceiling and roaches in the closets. The cabinets were not in good condition and water ...damage on the cabinets below the sink. Cant say all the apartments look like that however the one we received was unacceptable.Property Manager Responded

It’s meh!!
December 28, 2023in which, “I was still expected to pay the full rent for having “ALL” of the luxurious amenities even though the elevator was broken”, I did still choose to stay there. Which brings me to the end of my lease this year in November to where I could no longer stay because I need more room with having 4 kids. The manager didn’t want me to move out and I fully understand on why any property manager wouldn’t want their tenants to move out but I actually needed the extra space, she would continuously ...ask me every time I stopped by the office to either check on things or put in a issue with the apartment, but she would always ask if I was still moving and I would always reply with yes that is still the plan then she’d get an attitude and continue on with what she was doing. About a month and a half out before the end of my lease I came in to notify the manager that the blinds have fallen off of the door and punctured a hole in my leg (I.e. the blinds that came off of the back door by the actual mounted bracket), she then wrote it down and asked me a status update on if I’m still moving or not and I replied yes, and once again she got a little attitude and went back to helping one of her new employees. Nobody ever came to fix the blinds but now I am being charged for broken blinds that aren’t broken due to the tenant but broken due to the installer. The roach issue was one thing especially when you are bringing a newborn into this world, the broken elevator being broken in the building and you live on the 3rd floor for half the year was another but the attitude because you’re moving out has been the topping on it all. So I say live here at your own risk for some it’s ok and for most it’s not.Property Manager Responded

Terrible
March 20, 2023You can never get ahold of the office. They don’t clean the hallways. I’ve seen dog poop in the stairwells and elevators. Elevator was down for 3 months and the door fob pads are constantly broken. Decent price but not worth the hassle.Property Manager Responded
