WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX. DO NOT SIGN LEASE. The AC barely works in any apartment, most people employed at the front desk dont care about residents (I had to call the office with separate phone number just so they would answer my call)

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE. I signed a lease stupidly, without reading the reviews. This place is worse than anything I've ever seen. I came into a completely unoccupied UPGRADED 2x2 expecting something like the model I'd seen. That was far from it. The furniture was moved all over the place, my bed frame was missing legs, the bathrooms-- well we'll get to those. The place had paint peeling off all the walls, paint splatters on the walls and furniture, along with just dirt all ...
over the floors. The floors had cracks in them with exposed openings, which is probably one of the many reasons for roaches. The kitchen had roaches and various other bugs, both dead and alive. Underneath the sink alone I found about 20-30. There were blinds missing all over the apartment and the ones they did remember to provide were broken and dirty beyond imagination. The laundry closet door fell off as soon as I tried to move it and the balcony was a mess as well. One of the water sprinklers were surrounded by ceiling that looked like it was on the verge of falling--a serious hazard. The bathrooms had roaches crawling up the corners. Dead roaches were laying around in the bathtub as the water was continuously dripping, even though the faucet wasn't on. The toilet looked like it hadn't been washed in months. The paint was also completely peeled off on the inside of the bathtub. There was no curtain rod for a shower curtain either. The bathroom had several exposed areas of wood where it looked like the construction hadn't been finished, another great place for cockroaches. Even the furniture they gave us was scuffed and chipped. The model home included a table and chairs, which were replaced with a 2 ft island and high chair stools instead. I am paying extra for an upgraded apartment and there is nothing upgraded in there. I also have a few friends renting here and they also had terrible experiences with what was supposed to be a brand new apartment. One friend's room was littered with cigarette butts, smelled of cigarette smoke, the carpet had turn dark brown probably due to the cigarettes, and she had similar issues as me. Another friend ended up finding a bong and drugs still in his apartment from the previous owner. Someone on the Ballpark staff had the audacity to try to tell me that they do walkthroughs of each unit before leasing.

Worst apartment ever

If I could leave a negative -10 stars I would. This place is a disaster. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Apartments are in horrible condition, management sucks and the complex is unsafe. Break in’s are frequent and staff does not care when complaints are reported. If I had to choose between living under a bridge and living here, the bridge would win.

Management is a joke. My AC has broken down multiple times and it takes at least a week before it is fixed. Yet, when there portal goes down and residents are unable to pay online they demand their money. They give out $5 amazon gift cards for 5 star reviews so beware the ones you see here. DO NOT LIVE HERE if you can choose somewhere else.

Not a good place to live at

I am surprise the apartments have 4 star rating. All of the people that I know complain about this apartment complex. Service sucks, the charge a crazy amount for utilities, turned off watet in buildings quite often, poorly train staff, bad customer service, and units are okay looking.

horrible move in experience

Have never received an apartment in worse condition then when I moved in here. The place looked like it hadn't been clean in months. There was dust everywhere and the floor was horrendous. I mopped it 4 times and there is still so much dirt that comes out. There were empty water bottles in the sink along with hair! The carpet in the bedroom is dirty and is shedding. The furniture all has paint splattered all over it. When I complained they just said all apartments were looked at before move in ...
and found to be in acceptable condition. The apartment was anything but acceptable. Tying to figure out how I'm gonna survive the whole year here.

Misleading,voicemail full, don't care

I warn all looking for a place to live to avoid Ballpark West at all cost. They tell you one thing they do another. We waited to hear about approval or denial of our rental applications. We were told they were denied. So we made other living arrangements, then weeks later got an email with move in info. We could not reach anyone because voice mail is always full. My emails went unanswered. I kept trying to call. Finally, weeks later someone answered put me on hold for about 10 minutes. I was then ...
told general manager approved applications. Now general manager tells me via email, the account will be closed and a reletting charge of $560 or 85% of one-months installment will be assessed. Full payment is due within 30-days via certified funds. After 30-days, the account will then be sent to collections. We were told we were denied!?

I have live this ballpark west for 8 year, soon will be 9th year. This place is price gouging, they will raise the price every year. This place is not well maintenance. There is hot spa that is been up and down during winter. spring and summer, most of time , is up and running. The Apt is being pride of their work of ballpark west. However, there is dog feces on grass where you can't laid down or doing yoga. I have ask for help to move out by find 1 bedroom and one bathroom. Bear in mind, the ...

Comfortable and affordable

I lived here my first year out of home and had a good experience. I was really nervous seeing as how I had never lived away from my parents, and even though they were only an hour away it was still nerve-wrecking. My apartment was clean when I moved in and had all of the upgrades that the guy who gave me a tour told me about. Which were basically newer kitchen appliances. For most of the year I only had 2 other roommates and they were pretty chill, they were a little bit older but that was fine ...
because it was usually quiet in the apartment. I liked it because it was kind of like a dorm experience with the roommates and events and stuff without spending tons of money. And I had other friends who lived here and it was cool living close to them. I would probably live here again because the rent is pretty cheap for living in Austin, maintenance always fixed any problems relatively quickly, and I had a good overall experience here.
