I want to share my experience regarding Villa Broussard at 231 Saint Nazaire Rd, Broussard, LA 70518, where I moved in October 2025. From the moment I arrived, I immediately faced a serious flea infestation. I informed the apartment management about the issue right away, and while they did attempt to address it, it took more than four months for the fleas to become manageable. This situation raised concerns for me about whether my new couch and mattress were contaminated, which was understandably ...

After about a month of battling the infestation, the complex offered to move me to a different unit, but I would have to cover the moving expenses myself. Since I don’t have a local support system to help me move large furniture down from the second floor, this option wasn’t feasible for me.
Given these conditions, I strongly advise anyone considering Villa Broussard to think twice and explore other properties in the Lafayette/Broussard area. The ongoing pest issues and insufficient support from management make it a risky choice for potential renters.

Front staff & maintenance personal are awesome!! I had a couple issues in 2 years and they were resolved quickly (leaky roof from hurricane & light bulbs needing replacing)
I feel very safe in this neighborhood, no matter the time of day/night. I have only positive experiences since moving in. I would highly recommend Villa Broussard to anyone.

Buildings are poorly kept up bugs and spider webs hang in front of most doors, front gate gets broken every other month, residents cars are regularly broken into or tires are taken off and left on bricks. All and all this complex just wants your money.

Way over priced paper thin walls! Quiet time starts at 10 on Sat night. Two of the ladies who work in the office are very rude and not nice at all!

The staff is nice. It's pretty quiet around here. Unfortunately, the upkeep of the buildings sucks. Tons of bugs as well. I've had to bomb my apartment 3 times since moving in. (Once a month) Not quite resort living as they say.

Went to this place to check it out. The rent for the 3 bedroom is $1405 a month and they require you to have at least 3 times that a month in income before becoming a resident there. The application for it also costs $50 per person or $70 per couple staying there. Beautiful place, just a bit pricey.
