Bug infestation horrible experience
April 3, 2026I want to share my experience regarding Villa Broussard at 231 Saint Nazaire Rd, Broussard, LA 70518, where my son moved in October 2025. From the moment he arrived, he immediately faced a serious flea infestation. He informed the apartment management about the issue right away, and while they did attempt to address it, it took more than four months for the fleas to become manageable. This situation raised concerns about whether his new couch and mattress were contaminated, which is ...understandably distressing. After about a month of battling the infestation, the complex offered to move him to a different unit, but he would have to cover the moving expenses himself. Since he doesn’t have a local support system to help him move large furniture down from the second floor, this option wasn’t feasible. Given these conditions, I strongly advise anyone considering Villa Broussard to think twice and explore other properties in the Lafayette/Broussard area. The ongoing pest issues and insufficient support from management make it a risky choice for potential renters.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Great place to hang your hat
February 23, 2022Front staff & maintenance personal are awesome!! I had a couple issues in 2 years and they were resolved quickly (leaky roof from hurricane & light bulbs needing replacing) I feel very safe in this neighborhood, no matter the time of day/night. Complex
November 19, 2021Buildings are poorly kept up bugs and spider webs hang in front of most doors, front gate gets broken every other month, residents cars are regularly broken into or tires are taken off and left on bricks. All and all this complex just wants your money.Review from Apartments.com

It's okay

Nice place
August 5, 2015Went to this place to check it out. The rent for the 3 bedroom is $1405 a month and they require you to have at least 3 times that a month in income before becoming a resident there.
