Mold bad pipes bad management

This property is a gold plated pile of crap. The management is rude and unresponsive unless they want more money or to tell you to get rid of something they see as damaging the aesthetic of the building. Even if that something is a lock box on the door knob for our pets while we are out of town to allow someone to come feed them The building is pretty but the walls are thin the floors creak the plumbing doest work. The washers are usually broken and the dryers either leave your cloths wet ...

or melt them The oven makes the whole apt hotter by 20f every use There is no ac and the windows are from 1940 and dont keep cold in or bugs out The toilets clog constantly The appliances are ancient They charge 150 extra for a parking spot And extra 95 for a fan An extra 200 for utilities You can NOT and keep any decorations outside your apt no Christmas reath on the door no welcome mat no chairs visible on the balcony. The floors have nails sticking out of them and the clear coat they put on hasn't stopped pealing off for 4 years The dishwasher is filthy and the maintenance crew do cheap temp repairs that only push problems to the future and are also extremely rude

The building has a history of plumbing problems including gas leaks, carbon monoxide leaks, etc. Poor management and lack of timely response to issues. Pest problems. Unauthorized entry into units. Look elsewhere.

We signed a lease but fled from here after only 1.5 months citing CA CODE 1942. landlord has a very public history of violating tenants wm rights. Just do a quick search for their mgmt company Gombiner & co. The bldg is old and you are able to hear every step from above as if in your own unit. Very high turnover so go speak with current tenants first. You have been warned
