June 28, 2021Cockroaches. Homeless vagrants wandering day and night. Passgates and laundry room doors that don't work. Drive-in gates that work only on occasion. Maintenance that rarely shows up and never cleans up after themselves. Office people that couldn't care less about ANY of these issues (which is why they never get fixed). Talk to the office staff and and they act as if you're just nuisance. They show absolutely no interest in making this place any less of a dump! Want to know what you'll get from ...these people? Excuses and empty promises. "We're sorry you feel that way..." I don't buy 1 word of it. And they felt it necessary to raise the rent during a pandemic! Beautiful Complex
June 23, 2021I've been here for 8 years and my opinion is this Management is one of the best management by far. Joyce greets you with a smile everytime you see her. She always ask you how you're doing. Sherry and Jennifer as well. I can say when I needed something fix it was done promptly. Lex has been an outstanding worker. I should have left this review 3 yrs ago. I'm leaving one now because of the few of the dissatisfied renters. Villa Monterey is a beautiful community to live and it's by ...everything, especially if you don't have a Vehicle. Joyce, apt manager very friendly and helpful
February 4, 2021I'm from CA and wanted to relocate. I am divorced, low income, and I had to find something less expensive. Joyce, always friendly and upbeat when we talked, told me about surroundings and how it was, and what was around area. Really appreciate the time and effort she put in for me being 4 hrs away and not seeing property. I highly recommend them because of their customer service and follow through. The ONE STARS are true.
June 9, 2019Pay close attention to the ONE STARS. They are true. This place is a dump and management is incompetent. When they finally do what they are paid to do, they want you to go online and give them accolades - hence the stars that are 3,4 or 5. And if they don't see your wonderful review, good luck trying to get a work order completed next time. Yes, there are mice here and the appliances are donated, so they are old. BED BUGS EVERYWHERE! DO NOT LIVE HERE
July 16, 2017AHAHAH BUGS! BUGS! BUGS! BED BUGS EVERYWHERE! DO NOT EVER LIVE HERE! We moved my grandmother into this place 6 months ago. We have just now found out that the place is crawling with bed bugs.The Main office was infested from a couch they bought and never knew had them until they spread everywhere. If you read about bed bugs they are the worst and hardest pests to get rid of. You have to treat the entire building not just one living space because they move. Well management said they treated the ...main office but now all the bugs moved and have spread to every living space on property and management will not do anything about it. They said its not their problem. The health dept told us they cant do anything about it and legally we cant get her out of her 3 year contract unless dies or goes bankrupt.
