  • Better options out there.

    The maintenance men are always nice when they come out. The apartment itself is okay. However, I was told by office staff which lease to sign that included a w/d hookup so I did; On move in day as I was going through the checklist I realized there was no hookup. When I when to the office to talk about it Lee told me that I didnt sign a lease with hookups and they wouldnt be available for another couple months and it would be 125$ more than what they had previously told me we would be paying.     are paying 900$ as is. The kitchen was “clean,” however it looks and feels as if they actually clean the cabinets and continued layering on a stain including over the cabinet handles, thus causing the cabinets to have a greasy film over them. I scrubbed the handles and soaked them to no avail so I had to leave them off entirely. They also did not clean under the fridge or stove. The floor in the bathroom is peeling up on the edges causing mildew and dust pockets I cannot clean very well whatsoever and when I told them, they never addressed it. On top of those problems every time Ive called the office they have been rude. Overall other than those issues for just two people its pretty spacious and the other tenants are friendly. The lot is also always kept up with and clean.

  • Poor Property, Poor Management

    My husband and I had been house hunting for a few months since we knew our lease would be up soon, starting back in early September. The office was well aware of this, because we used Village Green as references. We found a home in November, but we had to go through the necessary process of application fees, background and credit checks, etc. It's a process that takes time, yet we got the green light for the home around November 20th. Village Green claimed that we didn't give them a 45 day ...
    notice, thus the office manager forced us into paying a fraction of rent ($200) for the first week of January, which was past our lease term. 2 years ago, the office manager told us that we would work out a deal with us if we found a home, but clearly that didn't happen. The truth is we shouldn't have had to pay this since we told them that we were in the process of finding another place and that's the reason why we weren't renewing the lease. We couldn't just pick a place, pay for it, and move in it then and there. It doesn't work that way. There's application fees, background and credit checks, etc. Once again, it's a process that takes time. Considering how lightly my 9 year old son's situation (he was beat up on the tennis court by a teenager that didn't live in Village Green), they should have been more happy to help us out since they knew we weren't comfortable living there anymore. This is one of the main reasons we decided not to renew our lease.

  • Great apartments

    We are first time renters and they made the application process fast and simple. We moved in and there were a few small problems, we told maintenance and they had it fixed within the hour. The apartments are very nice spacious and quiet. The staff is fast and friendly they make things easy to understand and help you along the way.
