Village Landing Apartments
October 12, 2015I have been living in the Village Landing Apartments for a little over a month now and I have had really great experience thus far. The apartment grounds have pretty landscaping with large fountains surrounding the 2 pool/sauna areas and plenty of guest parking in addition to the reserved parking. The apartment has a nice layout where both bedrooms have a walk in closet and the kitchen is large and very open with lots of counter space. The carpet is super soft and clean. Peaceful with ALL the amenities where they "love" their residents!
August 1, 2015Village Landing is just about as good as it gets in Merced when it comes to apartment living. Three words describe this complex perfectly: quiet, convenient, and complete. You really can have it all here. Outside, there is fabulous landscaping all around which even includes a dog park (with poo poo pick up baggies!) for your furry friends. Two LARGE pools with spa are available year-round (not heated) and offer cabana-like seating. There is a small indoor gym near the office with basic equipment ...and a racquetball court. The office offers drop off/pick up for package shipments in case you aren't home. Speaking of the office and other staff, they are UNBELIEVABLY FRIENDLY. These people are here to serve you and their maintenance crew (yes, an entire crew) is superb. Your maintenance request will be handled within 1 day (usually just hours) even for something as simple as changing a light bulb. There is ample parking around the entire complex. Inside, the apartments feel upscale and well-maintained, however, appliances and bathrooms feel far too outdated/not of the best quality for the rental price they ask. There are in-unit washer/dryer hookups and multiple laundry facilities on-site. They are pet friendly and there is a city dog park right across the street. The apartment is on the "quiet" side of town, so you aren't going to hear any trains or much traffic at all... it is SO QUIET here! Community college, University, fast food, shopping, and Downtown all within 10 minute drive.
