Village Place Apartments was one of the worst places I’ve lived. There is a serious silverfish problem, and my apartment felt completely infested with them. I would constantly see silverfish throughout the apartment, and it got to the point where I felt uncomfortable in my own home. What made the situation even worse was that maintenance never properly addressed the issue. I put in requests for the infestation to be fixed, but they either wouldn’t come in or would not do enough to actually ...
resolve the problem. The silverfish continued to be an issue, and it felt like my concerns were completely ignored. I would not recommend Village Place Apartments based on my experience. No one should have to live with an ongoing infestation while management and maintenance fail to properly fix the issue.

Bath tub stopper broken Tim came and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. He had to replace the entire stopper. He cleaned up after himself and it now opens and closes beautifully!

Matt and Luke Maintenance Bird Removals Had 2 separate incidents involving birds inside my vents. The first was when birds attempted to build a nest inside our dryer vent in April. They got in through the open vent outside the unit. Matt from the maintenance team came and was able to remove all the debris they had brought from inside the vent and secured a grate over the opening outside so they couldnt get back in. The second was a bird who got stuck inside the air vent by the furnace and had ...
made his way up to the vent cover leading into the apartment and was aggressively trying to get through. Luke from the maintenance team stayed hours after he was supposed to leave for the day and following a big storm to get bird out and the baby bird it left down there. Matt also returned and both of them assessed the core problems and explained everything to me and thoroughly ran down protocols and the work they had done to make sure I felt secure the problem was addressed and my family could be at ease. To following day Luke returned as promised and cleaned out the entire vent as well as sanitizing the vent so my family would not potentially be breathing in any harmful contents left from the birds. I cannot speak highly enough about the work and the level of effort and care I’ve experienced from both Luke and Matt thus far. Both extremely hard working guys that have gone above and beyond for my unit when I needed them and Im very grateful to have them to rely on. Thanks again guys.

Misleading dates and missing (no) amenities

My roommate and I were very excited to move into these new apartments. However, since we put the application in, it seems to be one issue after another. It started with being told the day AFTER we put in an application (and paid the non refundable fee) that the apartment wouldn’t be completed for the move in date (which was 8 days after the advertised start date). We then had to scramble and pay a lot of extra money for a 3 week lease at our current apartments. In addition, we were told on our ...
tour that the clubhouse and all the amenities would be completed at the end of April-early may. Then it was the end of May. Now it’s the end of July... That means we will go 1/3 of our lease without any of the stated amenities, including the expected pool for the majority of this very hot summer. When I went to the leasing office to ask for money back on rent due to lack of amenities, they stated that they were sorry but they couldn’t do anything. It now feels like we are paying way too much for an apartment with no amenities. It is especially frustrating when it looked for a month and half as if no progress was made on the clubhouse or pool and there has been no communication whatsoever with the residences as far as updates on amenities. I wouldn’t recommend living here until they figure things out and the entire complex is actually open or you will be overpaying.
