Not worth the hassle

Giving a 2 star rating because my time at the apartment wasn't HORRIBLE. That being said, my carpet should have been replaced when I moved out, yet I still had to pay for a carpet cleaning fee. Broke my lease early and had to pay a total of $2,400 in cancelation fees. They agreed to a year-long payment plan for said fees, yet 8 months into the agreement I recieved a letter from their "legal action department" threatening that i needed to pay the rest of my balance in full or my account would be ...
reported to a collection agency and the credit bureau. They are greedy, they will not work with you about billing issues, and they charge you for services you do not or can not use or want. Expect a non-negotiable charge of $140 extra dollars per month on top of the advertised rental amounts for "ancillary charges" which is cable/internet/trash removal/etc. Short Pros list: (And the only reason I didn't rate this as 1-star) Prompt maintenance, and the guys on that crew are friendly and excellent. Sidewalks and roads are well maintained in winter months. Decent cable package and fast internet. In my building during my 10 year stay I had good neighbors and no real complaints about noise. (I have heard plenty of stories otherwise though) One of the cheaper single-bedroom apartments in the area (Irwin, PA) Close to plenty of shopping and fast food.

We have lived here roughly 4 yrs. Our driveway WAS unsafe with major potholes. Last month our driveway was completely ripped up and newly paved? I complained numerous times about my stove not working properly, It was replace with a new one within the last month or 2. All of this was taken care of immediately AFTER we got a new property manager who cares about the welfare and Safety of the tenants ? Thank you !!!!!!!!! Even the maintenance guys are on top of things?

These apartments are disgusting. Leasing office says they'll follow up and then NEVER calls back on any questions. Maintenance doesn't fix anything. They came to "fix" my A/C and the maintenance man tracked mud all throughout my apartment. Stay far away from these apartments

-Staff is friendly. -gym and pool are nice -Apartments have ZERO sound proofing. you can hear your neighbors all to well. -They will never buy anything new to fix something. -They will raise your rent after your first year. -The staff is out the Door exactly at closing time. -They are very bad at calling you back. -There is drug use that tenants complain about and the staff seems to ignore it. -You always hear about hit and runs in the parking lots. -AR building Co is a terrible company ...
and will charge you for every thing they can will do nothing to help you. They charged me $50 for a plunger I never had and to get the charge removed I had to do everything short of threat to have the finally remove the charge. they also made me pay late fee's because there automatic payment system didn't work properly.

I have a newly remodeled,larger 1 bedroom. My apartment in has enough room for a single person or a couple. This complex is well managed and maintainence is very responsive. The complex is very quiet and the pool sparkles and the gym rivals many health clubs. Clean, quiet, spacious, and well equipped.

After 4 years of my rent going up and my apt falling apart. we gave up. Maintenance did just about anything to get out of fixing things. When we did decide to move the office staff was for the most part lax. We informed them three times that we would not be staying. We never got paperwork for the move out. As for me and my family " A bad experience all the way around ! "
