Don't bother

So this place is pretty bad. You think it'll be nice but constant construction, gun shot, fireworks, explosions, barking dogs, ability to hear your neighbors life, you can hear when they watch TV, talk or shut a door. The pet policy is a joke. And leaf blowers are your morning alarm clock at 5-6. Don't recommend. Just find a town house to rent

Bottom-line: nice location, but you can do so much better for the prices they are charging. Never underestimate how bad management can affect you even post-moveout; you are taking a big risk trusting your money and housing to these hacks. So if you are interested in paying top dollar for a ratty, poorly-maintained apartment in a rough part of town AND you would like to pay to upgrade your sub-par lodgings for the next resident who gets suckered in here, I would highly recommend it! For everyone ...
else? Stay far away.

Horrible place! Do not move here. You will never get deposit back. They charged for everything : for not existing damages , carpet , microwave , drip pants. They use your deposit to buy a new appliances ! I cleaned apartment for 6 hours thinking they will give me deposit back but I was so wrong. Take a pictures before you move out just because they dumping people and making them to pay for not existing problems. The maintenance rude and very unfriendly. Very bad experience.

Great place to live

I'd give this place more than five stars if possible. The grounds are well-kept, the condition of the buildings is age-appropriate, maintenance is super-responsive and the management staff is personable, responsive and professional. The few times I needed any type of help or had questions, either for management or maintenance, I received prompt and helpful responses. If I weren't moving to a different city, I would certainly continue to live here!

Good Value for the Money

The apartment looks unappealing on the outside. The interior looks a little dated. Nevertheless, perfection is not the standard at this price range. The management is great. Maintenance always responds in well under 24 hours. The complex is very quiet. Even my autistic son has not made a complaint about the noise. We did have a few bugs when we came in. Bugs are an inevitable part of life. Still, management was very responsive to my concerns. They quickly brought in the exterminator. ...
We have nearly zero bugs of any type after my family embraced a vegan lifestyle. Management was very kind when we flooded the apartment. We did about $800 worth of damage. The management even suggested that we pay the balance in monthly installments. Fortunately, we had the cash on hand to cover this expense. I also experienced a problem with the electronic payment system. Fortunately, management forgave the late payment fee of about $150. Thus, I now pay my rent way in advance. Unfortunately, my family will need to move to Chandler at the end of August. I doubt we will have the same good luck at the next apartment complex.

Honestly when I moved in it was great for 4 months than it’s been a rollercoaster of issues including unprofessional office staff. I’m at the point I’m notifying corporate about the office staff because they don’t seem to be held accountable for their rude behavior towards tenants. Belittling, arguing and blaming tenants for issues the office staff causes is ridiculous.

Great deal and great office
December 15, 2018
I lived here for two years, then came back after leaving briefly! While going to ASU this was the best deal for sure. When I had an issue with another resident (which was not at all normal and I made friends with many of my neighbors) they backed me up right away and were on my side. They made sure that I felt safe in the whole situation and accommodated my needs. Being listened to was really nice, and having someone be proactive about the situation was even better.

Not worth it

Awful awful awful service, it's way too expensive for the service to be so terrible. There's no communication and falsely advertised amneties. For the price you're paying you should at least get a heads up when they send people to your apartment for inspections, you should at least be able to use your assigned parking space, you should at least be able to pick up a package not between the hours of 11-1 on weekdays. Ridiculous, waste your money somewhere else please

Wonderful place to call home

I have lived at The Villagio for 2.5 years and it has been a wonderful place to call home for myself, my boyfriend, and 15 month old son. What made me choose this community over others in the area was the fact that it had everything that was important to me for the fairest price. The amenities I value most here is the free wifi and the washer/dryer in my unit; and when I subtract what I would be spending on wifi alone and all the hours spent at a laundry facility I am saving a lot each month. interior of my unit is very nice; with up to date appliances, wood laminate flooring, and clean carpets. I also enjoy the gym, and the fact they request a small deposit to use it. At first it had frustrated me, but I now see the value, and using the gym is a pleasure with other respectful residents. And might I add they also have a fun what looks like Zumba class on Tuesdays and Thursday that I am still afraid to try. Lastly I appreciate the staff here. Any time I have had to put in a maintenance request, they are VERY prompt on their arrival, they even have an on-call service for emergencies (which have even showed up during non-emergencies). And of course my favorite has been Yolanda, the leasing manager, she has been extremely professional and courteous to me throughout my stay. Due to the fact the office is open during the hours while I am at work, she has been so helpful via email in getting things taken care of for me. Quite honestly if you take care of your home and treat the staff with respect you should have no issues with management. And as I signed for my third lease here, I was even able to negotiate a lesser increase in rates due to my tenure. Thank you Villagio for providing a safe and comfortable environment for my family and I to live in!
