September 27, 2019What a joke. Avoid this place at all costs. It's all well and good if you can pay the ridiculous rent for a sub par dirty location. But if you have issues paying rent once prepare to be kicked to the curb and treated with zero respect. You can call customer service and ask exactly what you need to pay in fees, but their incompetent employees have no idea what the fee schedule is and seem to arbitrarily pull numbers out of nowhere that don't actually represent the amount owed. Don't try to call ...them on it, because they do not care about you. You do not matter to them. BY THE WAY, don't swear on the phone with them. They seem to have ruined enough lives that they made to make a policy of fining people for speaking their mind towards this garbage place! It's actually kinda funny. If you're ok with paying stupid amounts of money for one of the worse places you'll live with a landlord that sees you as nothing more than dollar signs, go for it. Stretch your muscles and visit the up to date gym for the ultimate fitness. During the season, plunge into one of two pools to continue your healthy living plan. Lunch in JC Restaurant will offer a menu to compete with any restaurant. If you still have the energy , there is an option to play tennis, or play an 18 hole golf course or ...simply choose a peaceful and quiet walk along the winding paths of the property. I personally appreciate the superior service of our management team who clean the pathways during the winter and keep the property sparkling during all seasons. I do not have to many problems in my two bedroom apartment with washer and dryer; but on occasions,when I all for service, the team is ever ready. During the winter, I really appreciate the warmth in my living space that comes with my rental. While I am a middle class senior, my life style at Heatherwood is as good as any wealthy class person. September 3, 2015Toured the community, and all available models, and I hope that I can move in here soon! Love all the amenities, and the models are great. Only wish the dog weight limit was higher, that will be the only thing holding me back :( Some people have dogs over 30lbs who are perfectly fine. Pet Rent? NO WAY
August 25, 2014I liked the community I saw, very nice and clean and convenient. There is one giant catch though, a 400$ NON REFUNDABLE "Pet Deposit" and 25$ extra per month for a pet. I have TWO cats that are four years old with NO record of any destruction. I tried to negotiate an extra refundable deposit for my animals because I am reasonable and know some animals are destructive...but so are some kids! No extra money required for them though. Never got any tour of all communities available
May 7, 2014I called Pine Hills rental office and spoke to a nice gentleman and set up an appointment in April, when I got there the woman sitting in her chair never bothered to get up from seat and pointed to the models!! I live 45 minutes away and was never in this area before. I wanted the rental agent to assist me as to the Pine Hills as well as the other communities such as Crystal Pond, on the Center Moriches side, I tried finding that location but kept driving around, so I gave up!! I've been in mgmt ...for 20 years dealing with customers and I never been treated in such a manner. I'm sorry that I bothered this woman, who obviously was uninterested in renting any apartments. I have 2 friends that live in your apartments who recommended this community, and who also mentioned that are plenty of vacant apartments and you were running specials in selected apts.
