The apartments have gone down since new owners. The apartments are like living in low income except with the high rent and fees. The landscaping is absolutely horrible with the ground cracking, all the bushes are dead and the sprinkler system never works for months except for around the country club so that always looks nice when potential new renters come in. The staff are rude, they lied about my mail, I got false calls about late rent multiple times, the leasing office handles lease executions and terminations terribly and the maintenance system is slow. My apartment once was over 90 degrees for several days in a row and we could not get anyone to respond to us. Living here was terrible. I am a current resident at the Villas at River Park West and this apartment complex has shady business practices and questionable professionalism standards. To a point, that if I knew about it all before I signed my lease, I don't think I would have signed and moved in. (I had no other option at the time.) When we first visited the apartment one of our biggest concerns was the patio, we love to be outside! We were never told we had restrictions on what we could and couldn't put on our own patio, now all of a sudden one of our chairs is a issue and they want to threaten us with a $100 fee.
