The noise drove us to leave, poor soundproofing

The location is great, nice amenities like a fitness room and pool, a good amount of washers/dryers and I liked the package locker system. However, the walls are SO THIN, and no insulation in the floors/ceiling so you could hear every small noise, like closet doors closing, the shower turning on, someone plugging something into an outlet above you, walking, the sounds of dogs’ nails scratching across the floor, full on conversations… this place drive us crazy with how much sound we had above us ...
and next to us. Especially neighbors arguing next to me in the middle of the night. Just too much noise! And over priced for the amount of my peace and sanity that was disturbed there.

Poor Management

It's a friendly community and great area of Pasadena. The apartments are clean and the community manager, Bianey is so kind and helpful. The building is old and has constant plumbing issues, but Bianey handled with care. Unfortunately, when she left for maternity leave the corporation did not replace her with a full time temp, and it became impossible to contact corporate when major issues like - hot water being out for a week happened. Upon our move out, we scheduled a move out inspection and ...
received confirmation from corporate of the inspection appointment. After taking time off work to be there, no one showed or called, or answered phone calls. Then we were charged with damages and a cleaning fee that was not in our lease (and we left a clean and damage free apartment, after living there for 6 years). When we tried to discuss this with corporate who withheld our deposit, they said it was not their problem that they didn't show up for the move out inspection and kept the charges on our account and threatened to send us to collections if we did not pay in full that day. I would never recommend any Air Community due to poor management and customer service.

Best community living experience

Villas of Pasadena is one of the best residential community living experience one can find in Pasadena with all range of amenities one requires in a residential facility. The management and staff is always very helpful and caring. Bianey and Christy are the best. This place is perfect for families, students, couples or if you're new to Pasadena.
