Virginia Park is a two-story building with 40 apartments which were built with a controlled entrance, equipped with automatic doors and an elevator, specifically to accommodate mobility impaired persons who are at least 18 years of age. Our community is located on the southeast side of Iowa’s capital, Des Moines. ParaTransit buses, Metro Buses, and local taxi service are available to our residents for easy access to the grocery stores and shopping areas that are close by. Meals On Wheels is available to residents upon their request. Virginia Park is a smoke-free community.
