I’ve had a really pleasant experience with Vista Oaks Apartments overall. The property has a calm, welcoming feel, and one of the standout features is how beautifully it’s surrounded by mature trees. They provide great shade, which makes a noticeable difference during the hotter months and gives the whole community a more peaceful, park-like atmosphere. Andrea, the leasing manager, truly deserves recognition. She is consistently bright, professional, and genuinely helpful. From the first ...

interaction, she made the process feel smooth and approachable, and she clearly takes pride in supporting residents and keeping things running well. Another big plus is how dog-friendly the community is. It’s refreshing to find a place that feels accommodating to pet owners while still being well-maintained. One important note for prospective residents: if accessibility is a concern, be aware that there are no elevators on the property. Upper-floor units require the use of stairs, which may not be ideal for everyone, particularly those needing ADA accommodations. Overall, Vista Oaks offers a comfortable and well-kept environment, with standout staff and natural surroundings that really add to the quality of living.

Since the kitchen cabinets are made of old particle boards there starting to look old fast and parts of them have been falling apart. The washing machine at times has ruined some clothes because it twisted them up badley and continues to at times. The deck floor has nails that stick up and has caught my pant leg on them and hurts if you step on them and just the other day when I was walking on it bare foot I got a big sliver of wood in my foot which hurt but I got it out and I'm okay. step into the bath tube to take a shower it make alot of noise and I see where it looks like a hole was repaired on the bottom of the tube so I pray it's not the tube getting ready to fall through the floor plus glass doors are getting hard to open and close and makes alot of loud noise when trying to slide them. Other then those issues every thing else seems to be fine in the apartment. I've noticed other people and me at times having a hard time finding some one in the office during office hours mostly when it's time to pay your rent, people being frustrated and having to go down to I think it's called Vista Pines the other apartments gray star owns only to find nobody's in that office too. That's gotten a little better in the last few weeks. I don't think that management knows how to deal with me having section 8 because I've been given eviction notices a few times and I've always paid my portion of the rent on time except for one time because I couldn't catch any one in the office. Months back I was told some one brook into the office and checks where stolen and one of them was mine and that was one of the reasons why I was given one of the eviction notices. Still today when I asked why does it show I owe 5,000.00 when I don't she said there still checking on banking statements but this has been going on for awhile. I was told to get renter insurance which I did along time ago then about a month ago I was told that they could see a few months back that they started charging me for their renter insurance too, I don't even know if that got corrected. I reported a fall I had months ago and showed the man why it happened and still as of today the thing that caused me to fall never got corrected. The lady in the office when I told her about it she seemed to care so she told me she would get back to me on this last tuesday but didn't probably because she said when she started working in the office that she was so busy trying to fix a big problem that had been going on

My experience with vista oak is a disaster . I feel neglected after I already becomes the tenant . I don’t see the empathy and care by the time I stay . I don’t feel vista oak align with their pillars of excellence.

We had a showing to tour the place this morning at 11. We even got a reminder email of the tour. Nobody was there. The office hours say that they are open on Saturdays and there was a sign that stated they were out of the office until 9am. It was 10:50am. Very inconsiderate and very unprofessional.
