About Warder Mansion

Welcome to Warder Mansion! This historic property provides an elegant and convenient approach to DC city living. Originally constructed in 1886, this Romanesque revival masterpiece was designed by famed architect, H. H. Richardson. The mansion served as an opulent city residence for American industrialist, Benjamin Warder, and his family. It was later added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. Our facility enjoys a sunny courtyard, a private parking garage, high-speed internet, and proximity to public transportation. Each apartment home boasts such luxuries as hardwood floors, high ceilings, large closets, and access to balconies with views of the neighborhood. Warder is a great place to live. The location near the park and walking distance to AdMo, U street, and Columbia Heights is convenient, and right along the 16th bus line. The leasing people and facilities guys are helpful and friendly.

I love my apartment. A beautiful place. Smoke free place. Peaceful place. With spacious rooms. I'm lovin 'it. The good thing about it is that everything is close. meters from Columbia H station. meters from Target, CVS and others.

Maintenance is very rude and tries to tell you that the problems in your unit are not happening. They do weird things where they will say they are coming to turn the gas ON for the fireplaces and then turns them all off without warning. They said to only tell the people who asked/ noticed that they were turned off. They have not cleaned or done anything to make up for the abrupt change. Also, will say they are coming in to change the air filter then conduct apartment wide inspections. We dont ...

Management decisions negatively affect the experience living here. Fireplaces were abruptly turned off and are no longer operable (though they have not cleaned and removed the equipment from them), staff park in the drop off space during all business hours instead of the garage blocking normal drop-off and pick-up and the main entrance, packages are stolen from the joint courtyard, and individuals who live in Totten Towers (the adjacent building) were given access to Warder Mansion through the ...

building code box. Mail is not properly dropped off in the package concierge lockers because the courtyard is locked at all exits after 5pm for individuals without keycards and mail providers know they will be trapped until a resident notices and lets them out.
