I moved into Waters Edge in April after looking at many other places. Blair was an amazing resource who took her time and answered all the questions my sister and myself had. The process to move in was stress free which is what made me feel comfortable with my decision. Upon moving in, we were provided with a checklist to fill it with any issues inside of the apartment that needed repair. We promptly completed the form and submitted it back to the office. Among the things we listed were peeling
...paint on our bedroom doors, missing window screens, pen/marker marks on the walls. We waited over 2 weeks for any repairs to even be addressed. It became a trying process to get any answers or any repairs completed in a timely manner. We provided the office with photos of each room, and sent detailed emails. Our bedroom doors still make very loud noises when opening them due to the excessive buildup of paint-they need to be replaced or completely sanded down. We requested this and the result was a the coat of paint. The bedroom door in the master bedroom has had a hole it in since the day we moved it, and has never been repaired. Pest control is a joke-we had an infestation of ants in our home as well as our outdoor storage and were told that pest control only services inside the unit. As a result we have spent our own money to purchase products to control the ants. There are various holes in the foundation of our building where pests can enter, again we’ve asked for them to be fixed to no avail. Currently we have requested service for a possum which appears to be trapped inside of our unit and have been met with more laid back responses. Maintenance did come but reported they found nothing, even after hearing multiple video recordings of the noises coming from our a/c closet. We submitted a pest control request and were then told that maintenance will patch the potential entry point without addressing the animal inside our unit. Although this complex does offer many amenities, unfortunately if you need any repairs done you should be prepared to wait. We keep records of every interaction we have with the leasing office to ensure that things are completed. There is very little communication after repairs are done or to schedule appointment times unless we ask multiple times. Again, Blair is wonderful at her job and offers as much assistance as she can but many things are above her.
