Moving after $300 increase in rent for everyone some even more
May 30, 2022Finding needles, tin foil with drugs people actually shooting up in parking lot behind building 49. Not for kids. We are leaving with our grandson, and by the way don't complain about heavy drugs being done in parking lot, you have to take care of it. Call police yourself, go up to them and make them leave. I did it at first but too dangerous. Looks great on the outside, you can put a suit on a pig it is still a pig..Property Manager Responded

Management non existant
July 25, 2020Management at this place are as incompetent as they are non existent. Our amenities were closed the entire summer until somebody took the courage to stand up to them and start a petition. The pool was open about a week later. They didn’t plan on opening until somebody called the Board of Health and found out they didn’t even apply for a pool permit yet. Gym also took several days to open after it was allowed. Parking lot not taken care of at all and trashes always overflowing. The only good thing ...are the maintence and Jacinta in the office. The rest of the office is incompetent and just not good people in general. They could care less about their residents or concerns brought to their attention. Non existent leasing office
June 18, 2020Once you are a resident, good luck trying to contact anyone if something goes wrong. Extremely rude and avoidant unless of course you are a prospective tenant and not a current one. I've been trying to contact them for weeks to try to make preparations for lease expiration and nothing. They won't even give me a copy of my lease. They also do not enforce no smoking which is bad news unless you're a smoker. All they will do is warn you constantly but will never actually do anything about it even if ...you chain smoke your cigs inside your apartment. Beware of this place!Property Manager Responded

MY NEW HOME
May 23, 2018I have been living here for a year and I just renewed my lease because this resort style living makes me feel like I have, finally, found my home. The apartments ( I live in a studio) are large open and bright w all new kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher, new hard wood floors and a bathroom w good water pressure. Waterford Village is pet friendly (my cat loves watching from the double window), w doggie parks, lots of beautiful land to walk your 2 legged or 4 legged babies, hiking, ...playing tennis, gardening, a gym, and a gorgeous well kept pool for lounging and swimming in the summer. Lastly, but most importantly, the front office/leasing office staff and the maintenance staff are always ready with a smile and a kind word. October 8, 2015Moving into this complex was not by choice. My fiance, our son, her father, and our dog were living in a very, very small run down apartment which was deemed "unlivable" by the town last December. Waterford village was the ONLY complex in which dogs were allowed and was within 30 miles with immediate vacancy. Pros: Nice pool Friendly maintenance staff That is it. I wish I could tell you my time here has been pleasant. And while it has not been horrible, it could be better in many, many ways. ...Cons: Snobbish, almost condescending office staff Slow snow removal Very loud college neighbors Excessive laundry machine problems Having to PAY per car for unnassigned parking spots (even more for a few assigned ones) Pest filled storage units (not cheap either) Paying per pet (Not very unusual, but illegal nonetheless) Very bad traffic leading into complex during school year because of college The list goes on, but a few things take the cake. When we signed the lease, we were informed that it is now a SMOKE FREE facility, and will be 100% by this previous April (all new leases will now require it. However, cigarette butts are both plentiful outside, and the hallways smell of them on many days. (I even saw a man moving in just yesterday with a cigar in his mouth in the hallway!) This has certainly not been a smoke free experience. We have mentioned this and been shrugged off by office staff multiple times. I somehow feel that it's my fault for trying to follow my lease when no one else seems too. What can I do about being promised a smoke free environment when I signed a lease and never having one? We have had a problem with paint chipping and bubbling with mold growing in the bathroom ceiling. It took over a month and multiple calls to the leasing office for them to send out an external contractor who 100% TRASHED our bathroom. Not even an apology from the office, the just sent out one of the maintenance guys to "clean up". Couldn't clean the rug in our room after the contractor threw the wet and soapy shower curtain on our bedroom floor! And the plaster he got all over my child's bath toys? In the garbage. I guess I can say you live and learn, and I've learned that once my lease is up, to cut all ties and run.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

My apartment is okay
September 6, 2015It's a decent size for a one bedroom apartment... I have a big walk in closet, and good regular sized closets. Quick walk to Bridgewater State & The T. It is a very safe complex. It comes with a pool, a gym, a pool table, tennis courts and all the things a good clubhouse should offer. It is well maintained. Great place overall.
August 2, 2015I don't love it or hate it, but this is an alright place to live. Potholes get bad, some of the benefits aren't super well maintained (eg the gym) but its not terrible. Our place is really nice, maintaince is great, its pretty quiet, and I've never had serious issues. Keep in mind its right next to a college, its near the train tracks and there is tons of people.
