December 10, 2018When we first moved in everything was good but after a while things started to go downhill. The plumbing has always been crappy and since the units don't have their own shut-offs, the water to the whole building has to be shut down for repairs. This has happened a lot with little (and sometimes no) advance warning. There is also no onsite management to speak of and when something in your apt needs fixing they will promise needed repairs will be made but that can take a long time and sometimes it ...just never happens at all. Other problems are things like overflowing trash bins and a garage gate that is always breaking down. One other thing that you might not find out about until after you move in is that there is INSANE traffic on Sepulveda during the hours of 7-9 am. I'm talking bumper to bumper traffic Monday-Friday. Even going north on the 405 is a hassle because of the local traffic. Along with all this, they raised the rent all of a sudden for everyone here by many hundreds of dollars, forcing us out along with other tenants. We did our best to be good tenants and always took care of our apt but I guess that means nothing to this landlord.
