Black mold, rude neighbors
March 9, 2022A bunch of black mold and management said I could pay my renters insurance deductible to go live in a hotel with my kids! I have to keep my toddler away from the broken glass. And my neighbors leer at me and dump beer bottles everywhere. One neighbor let their dog crap next to my door.Review from Apartments.com
Review: Wellington Place Apartment in Burien
January 15, 2018I recently moved from Wellington Place Apartments into senior housing in Des Moines. It was a good, but necessary, move for me in some ways, but I hated leaving Wellington Place. The facilities were beginning to show a little wear, but many improvements have been made recently. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. My experience at Wellington Place was very positive. I found the office staff to be helpful and friendly and I loved my apartment. It was a great location for me. The ...area around the apartments and the parking lot were well lit at night and I always felt it was a safe environment. That was important to me. All residents have assigned covered parking; the one drawback is that there isn't a lot of space for visitor parking. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Wellington Place. So much better
July 25, 2017Over the past 9 months the team here at Wellington place has been working hard to get the apartments looking nice, clean and making them safer. They have redone the asphalt in several areas, painted the buildings and addressed issues with noise and garbage. They spent a lot of time and effort adding better lighting and addressing safety issues. Most notably redoing any older decks. Recently they added a new security company that walks the grounds nightly. While not perfect, I can say that it is a ...lot better. Tenant lease problems, no parking
September 6, 2015There are problems to be considered here with regard to quiet enjoyment, non-smoking clause enforcement(Marijuana/Cigarette), odors from adjacent units, and mold abatement. There are repeat violations of tenant assigned parking. There is a lack of parking for visitors. Parking is in front of bedroom windows.
