December 18, 2025I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the ongoing maintenance issues, poor management, and overall condition of this property. The response to maintenance requests has been consistently inadequate. One major example is the air conditioning unit, which required replacement throughout the summer. Despite multiple requests, maintenance did not address the issue until two to three weeks before summer ended, at which point I was informed that “higher management wants to wait until ...next summer to replace it.” This is only one of several maintenance concerns that were either delayed or ignored entirely. It is especially concerning given that a maintenance employee lives on-site, yet routine and necessary repairs continue to go unresolved. When I moved into the unit, it was clear that proper cleaning had not been completed. There was an overwhelming amount of air freshener used, which appeared to be an attempt to mask lingering odors. The unit had previously been occupied for over ten years, yet key items such as carpeting and other basic fixtures were not replaced. This left me moving into a unit that was not properly prepared for a new tenant. Additionally, management has been extremely unprofessional. One manager, whom I believe is named Bree, has been consistently rude and dismissive. Her lack of professionalism and customer service skills has made it difficult to address concerns or feel heard as a resident. The property itself raises serious safety concerns. There is no parking lot surveillance, which has led to vandalism and other sketchy activity. When issues occur, management’s response is simply to tell residents to contact the police, rather than taking any responsibility or preventative measures to protect tenants. Overall, this property is poorly maintained and poorly managed. I strongly urge prospective tenants to carefully consider these issues before choosing to live here.Property Manager Responded

February 3, 2025I’m satisfied when I can call the office with the maintenance request and it is fixed correctly and properly. Maintenance did take action right away and sent a plumber to my apartment on a Thursday night. I had to contact the office Monday morning about completing the pipe work under the sink. I was at disbelief that they didn’t know. It wasn’t complete meaning maintenance and plumber didn’t communicate about progress. I spent four days unable to use one side of my sink. Overall problem solved ...under the sinkand changed my faucet. I am very well pleased. Maintenance are always pretty cool. Do not move here.
March 26, 2023The management here is rude and don't care about renters. The renters are also rude and loud, running up and down the hallways playing loud music, leaving trash all over the building and outside. Management does nothing about anything. People steal your packages unless your package is delivered to the office and good luck trying to get it if you work normal day time hours. Don't leave your clothes in the washer or dryer too long it will be removed. If you park in the lot good luck on your car ...not getting scratches the kids play in the parking lot. Lol if you need the police they are usually here atleast once a week. It is supposed to be locked access but most days the doors are propped open or broken. The garage is supposed to be locked access also but like every other door it's usually open. People park in your garage spots if your not home. The heat in the winter NEVER works right. It's ALWAYS freezing in my apartment good thing I know how to fix it when I get home. Air is only for the living room. If you have a 2 bedroom plan on sleeping in the heat. The air doesn't go to the bedrooms. Don't open your windows unless you want to hear EVERYTHING going on all night. My neighbor would have parties and loud people outside on their balcony all days of the week and all night. Don't move here unless you want to live in an overpriced dump.Property Manager Responded

do not get what you pay for
July 1, 2020it’s a good starter apartment. We lived there for 1 year and it was okay. BUT it’s not worth the price. Very overpriced for what you get. There’s no amenities, and everything is outdated. Don’t even get me started on the train track RIGHT next to the apartments. Very sketchy location as well. Having dogs, I let them out late at night and kids (and adults) like to use the parking lot as a place to deal drugs and party/hang out. The office is terrible with packages as well. Not very helpful. ...Overall, it was okay, if it was your last resort (like it was for me) but would not be first choice, not even 3rd.Property Manager Responded

Horrible Experience
October 29, 2017I lived at WR for 2 years. In that time, I had my car broken into 2 times (my neighbors was stolen) this happened once INSIDE of the garage. I continuously reported concerns about someone getting in my apt and taking things, we later found out that management was allowing one of the residents teenagers to "help" so he had access to our apts. Eventually he was arrested. Don't think you get privacy. You might pay for it, but you are policed 24/7, they will know when you have company, who it was, ...and how long they were over. Once you upset mgment, you have upset them for good & that sweetness goes away. I lived above a drug addict and she was constantly taken to ER, and angry that her boyfriend said hello to me in the lot, she was lying on my kids to get me in trouble & they took her word over mine (non-criminal/non-user)-it was offensive! The police response to all things was "just think you live in one of the nicer apartment complex's in CR" . I moved out of CR after my daughter was kidnapped & harmed and we had poor police response.Property Manager Responded

Wonderful Staff and Priced Right
May 3, 2016I've been living at Wellington Ridge since February 2016, and have had the best experience. From the very beginning of the process, the staff has been absolutely wonderful. Each member of the front desk and maintenance staff is super friendly, and remembers you by name. The residents inside this community look out for one another and everyone is very pleasant and respectful. Another fantastic benefit is that these apartments are pet friendly! I have a large dog and she loves the staff and other ...dogs inside the complex. I couldn't be happier with living here. They're quick to fix any issues you may have, and always go the extra mile. The back of the apartment has a beautiful pond full of wildlife. My dog and I enjoy watching the birds, ducks, geese, turkeys, and even the occasional red-tail fox! If you're looking for an apartment in the northern suburbs, I highly recommend checking out Wellington Ridge.Property Manager Responded
