Heartless and Uncompassionate Toward Military Families
July 1, 2025I reached out to Westmar Student Lofts with a sincere and urgent request to cancel my daughter’s upcoming lease due to an unforeseen family hardship. We are an active military family As a result, our daughter can no longer move to Atlanta as planned. Despite providing clear documentation of this hardship and asking for compassionate consideration, Westmar coldly denied our request. Their response referenced fine print from the lease and refused to make any exception, even under serious family ...and military-related circumstances. Their lack of empathy toward a military family is disheartening. We serve this country and make sacrifices every day—and this is how we’re treated? It’s unfortunate to see a company prioritize profit over basic decency. If you’re a military family, student, or anyone who may face life changes beyond your control, think twice before signing a lease with Westmar. Nice! Active but quiet
June 30, 2025It’s a good place for college students or people trying to get on their feet. The amenities are awesome the pool basket ball court gym and track are all pretty cool including the game room with the pool table big place cool for dogs and the price can really help with saving up for your next big moveProperty Manager Responded

Terrible place

Horrible staff, dirty rooms, Roach and bug infested, property not maintained the list goes on an on. Will charge you for any and everything when you move out. Shameless people. August 9, 2024I want to share my experience with WESTMAR to help others make an informed decision. My time here has been challenging, and I feel it’s important to highlight a few key issues: Communication Issues: The management often fails to respond to emails or voicemails, leaving tenants frustrated and unheard. Unfair Practices: I’ve experienced troubling practices regarding billing and disputes. They have pursued legal action over charges for apartments I never resided in, which feels both unfair and ...aggressive. Maintenance and Quality: The complex itself is outdated and not well-maintained. There are more affordable and better-kept apartments available nearby. Student-Friendly Advice: If you're a student, I highly recommend considering other options. The stress and headaches associated with living here are not worth it. Don’t Move Here
March 23, 2024I will start at my moving int process, it was awful, it’s impossible to get into contact with anyone in the leasing office to ask questions let alone inquire to get an appointment for tours, or Appartment applications. The lease is like a trap less of an agreement, you only have thre days to change your mind is you don’t have keys and if you want to back out you have to find someone to take on your lease an live here in your stead? The rent is so first of the month so if you move in on 17 of May ...you will pay May First and June First not including if you did a PPA agreement this is completely separate from that cost. Nextly this building is digusting, the cleaner doesn’t clean she spot checks the the first floor where the leasing off is and that’s it, also the horrible roach problem, I had to for several months straight fight off roaches from the moment I moved in till the moment I could finall request from the exterminator to come since they had been booked out for months, and they didn’t do a goo job my roommate an I had to over a mom call him back 3 times to spray, and we still had to buy pesticides to get rid of them ourselves. The Shuttles break down or the drivers quit so often that the shuttles are more often than not out of service or only going to one stop on the given route or you have to wait 3 hours to even catch a shuttle doing the same route since only one busy will be operating for the week or month. It’s so loud here, people dogs bark none stop for hours and hours every day an all night. Their dogs poop everywhere and since the janitor doesn’t clean their poop stays in hallways and stair cases or where ever the dog poop and the owner doesn’t clean after them. The pipes leak all the time, the fire alarm randomly goes off once a month, the pipes and water barely work and maintenance straight up ignores your request. I have sen ton 3 request for the same broke drain issue in my bathroom and they came once, did not fix the issue and never came after I requested again that the issue was not resolved. We have no cable, the internet connection is spotty and the Leasing staff thought nice often don’t know the answer to questions and often enter apartments even though the resident doesn’t respond or request them not to. The Mail room is unorganized, I receive someone else’s mail every day and it takes for ever to receive my own mail or it gets sent back due to one issue or another.Property Manager Responded

I tried to get out of my lease months before moving in they wouldn’t hear any of this l, when I got there the pool was shut down the entire time I was living there, the parking situation was a mess as well almost every time my guests come over they got booted and charged 70 dollars I checked in with all these guests and logged in with their parking app yet still they got booted and finally as I was leaving they decided to immediately start renovating the ...apartment, me and my three Roommates were still living there and they took down our cabinets without telling us they were going to and threw all of our stuff into the living room. There were also more typical problems with the building the water was undrinkable there were bugs everywhere the trash shoot was always blocked off most of the front desk staff was fine but some were fully inept and other quite rude. Now they are charging me a cleaning fee after trashing my unit as I was moving out stay away from this buildingProperty Manager Responded
