October 5, 2015My two-bedroom apartment is just the right size for me since down-sizing my home of 50 years. I also have; Friendly neighbors Courteous and prompt custodian Market, pharmacy, cleaners, restaurants walking distance No snow removal by me needed! Great Location at a great price!
July 29, 2015Westaway Apartments is right off of Germantown Pike and I have to say I never hear any traffic. The grounds are kept neat and there is a maintenance person on site that is usually able to fix whatever you need that day or the following.... Danielle (the property manager) is super nice. The residents that I have met have been more than welcoming. Parking in the lot can get a little tight, but there is ALWAYS enough room to park on the street (no permits or issues since I have been here). All in ...all a nice place to stay. Lafayette Hills' most Unique Apartments
July 21, 2015Westaway Apartments in Lafayette Hill are extremely convenient to center city Philadelphia, the suburbs and all routes taken out of state. It is literally 10 minutes away from the turnpike, blue route and expressway. You can not ask for anything better. The bonus is that you are not responsible for paying for heat or hot water. The common areas are well kept and spotless. The apartments are being renovated, and include energy saving air conditioner, a microwave and new carpeting. The ...renters are very courteous and are extremely helpful. Westaway apartments are a historic landmark .You get the best bang for the buck ,and can enjoy the scenic area in a prestigious neighborhood. Quaint and Friendly
July 21, 2015My boyfriend and I moved in to Westaway Apartments at the end of June of 2015. We decided to go with a one bedroom with a den and have been immensely happy that we did so. The den and the bedroom connect with cute French doors that give character to the apartment. What's more is that each room also has a regular door too so you can really make each room it's own being. The kitchen is nice and has a din in area that is big enough for a kitchen table and chairs, so you don't have to worry about ...using space in the living area. Be aware though that there is no dish washer in the kitchen and while that may seem like an inconvenience you actually wind up getting use to it quickly (if you are not use to hand washing that is). There is also only one washer and dryer per building. This may seem like an inconvenience but, since there are only about 8 to 10 people per unit, it actually winds up working nicely. Everyone seems to time when they need to do laundry at a good time. The neighbors in this community are really nice too. It is a very quiet community though, so if you are looking for a party type scene this wouldn't be the place for you. But its a nice place for a couple starting out or for someone who is docile or homey. The location is great, it's near a lot of restaurants and stores and there is a wawa down the street. Its close by to the exits for the turn pike and blue route. I'd highly recommend this apartment complex.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
