Bad management

Horrible management with poor communication skills. You can never get in contact with them. They never answer the phone and are never in office on site. They tell you one thing then charge you for something completely different. Not worth the stress to deal with this awful management company.

I selected this apartment community when I was still working at U of M. I've retired now and I'm still enjoying my life here at Westbrook. The apartment location couldn't be better as you are minutes from Ann Arbor and the Brighton area for convenient shopping. The pool and fitness center are so well maintained and the maintenance here at this complex is first rate. The apartments are large and roomy. After living here for several years I find this community to be safe and well cared for. ...

Great place to live

My daughter and my grandsons live here and I am glad they do. I think this is a wonderful place for them. The staff has always treated them well. This complex always does that little extra to making staying here very nice. They have resident celebrations throughout the year that lets you know they care about you. I don't know of many other places that do that. Miss Beverly keeps the maintenance running smoothly. Not only is she quick to respond to calls, but she stays on top of routine ...

I moved to Westbrook about 6 months ago and have been very happy living here. My apartment is beautiful, I enjoy my neighbors and am so happy that they allow pets and there was no weight limit. I have a large lab who loves walking around the community. It's always very clean and well cared for. I've only had a couple of minor maintenance issues and they were taken care of immediately and correctly the first time. I've lived places where maintenance has had to come back multiple times for the same ...

issue and that can be so frustrating. The lady who handles the maintenance, Bev, took excellent care me. The office staff is beyond helpful and very friendly. Any questions I have, they respond quickly and they care about me personally. I take my dog up to the office with me sometimes and they are so sweet to her as well. I love being able to pay my rent online. I have been just truly happy with my decision to move to Westbrook and plan on staying here a long time.

Haven't received Admit fee

If you're credit isn't perfect, don't apply for this apartment. They make you put down an admit fee for an apartment, it's quick for them to take it out of your account but it's takes forever for them to give it. Which I don't like! I could've use that money for my new place, but now I have to wait for them to give me my money back. I emailed the lady that works in the office, she told me that I should receive it back in 3 weeks. It's been a month in a half. SMH!

Having been "professional renters" for many years, we have been around to know the good, the bad, and the ugly of renting. Moving to Westbrook Apartments was one of the best decisions that we have ever made. Maintenance takes really good care of the property and is always really fast to respond to any maintenance issues. You can tell that the staff really cares about the residents because they all seem to drop everything to help anytime I or my husband have an issue, question, or request. The ...

property is pet friendly, with no weight restriction for dogs, which is one of the reasons we chose to move here. I love having the convenience of a laundry room and it is really nice having two full bathrooms as well (especially when we have guests over!) We have great neighbors, it is a really peaceful community, and it is really comforting that the police and fire station is right next door. With as spoiled as the Westbrook Staff has us, I can't see ever moving to another apartment complex. (We actually had a neighbor move out and she was back within 6 months!) I would gladly recommend Westbrook Apartments to anyone.
