  • Just ask residents before you sign the lease

    Krystal in manage is rude and makes up her own rules to fine you...When trash cans are not emptied on specified days and she wants residents to keep the trash in garage to create rodent problem. We pay for pest control on lease but rare comes out if you dont follow up several times. I have had a cracked window in my unit day one of my move in and reported it and two years later management is still working on this repair. I also reported several times that my unit heat is not working properly ...
    and unit is very cold and her response was, " go buy some wood and light your fireplace." Very unprofessional. Pools in the summer are more closed than open in the summer months. Entry gates never worked for residents and we have to manually punch code as if we were a visitor. Gates are often broken so not much privacy or security. No camera work around propetry, Krystal's response is always, "we are working on it... what else". Clearly she lacks customer service skills. She lives on property and lets her little white dog go to the restroom behind my unit and does not clean it up but sends letters out about fines for other residence dogs. She is not a very truthful person so beware before you sign a lease with Western Station Apartments (LivingJoy). This place use to have decent management at least now it really declined in the last year. A lot of the residents have moved and I understand why.

  • Manager charged us an extra month rent, kept $500 deposit

    1-Krystal Dorman, manager, charged us November rent we gave her the keys of the apt. In October 23rd 2-She kept $500 deposit lying about damage that we noted in the first walk through page that it was already there, plus she didn’t want to prove her lies after we asked for the reasons, she ignored our e mails. Many more things that I’m so disappointed about. She made our experience so bad. She keeps reaching out acting like nothing happened asking why I gave her 1 star

  • Poor communication and Delayed work orders

    The apartments themselves are great. They way they are run is a different story. The communication about issues is communicated poorly. There are incredible delays with no concrete answers. The dog park is treating like a bathroom for dogs instead of a place for them to run. Getting concrete answers is almost non-existent.

  • Favorite apartment I've had in the area

    I had a friend who lived here and I always loved visiting- new build, brand new appliances, lots of space/storage, great location, balcony, etc. When my lease was up at my old place, Western Station was at the top of my list. I love living here!

  • Rent keeps going up while the service goes down

    The best thing about these apartments are the attached garages. The closets are small compared to other apartments I've lived in, the apartments are poorly insulated, cheap carpet, the doors don't fit properly in the door frames, and additional parking is horrible. Some cars are basically stored in the few extra spaces that are available because I never see the cars leave those spots. Residents park huge trucks in front of their garages so you can't even see around them to back out and people do ...
    not drive cautiously around here! The back gates have been broken and open for I don't even know how long. Isn't this a service we all pay for? Not that it matters because people are always following others in anyway. The gates are more for looks than anything. Trash should only be set out at certain times on certain days, but this is apparently a difficult concept to grasp as trash is set outside at all hours of the day and for days at a time since there are two nights when trash isn't collected. For the amount of trash I produce, the service is expensive, and especially so since the new trash collectors don't even come upstairs to pick up my trash like the old collectors did. I would much prefer to pay less and take my trash to the bin myself, and then maybe there wouldn't be so many trash bags left outside for hours/days. I understand rent goes up, but when they are offering new residents money off their rent and can't give any deals to people who have been loyal customers, haven't caused problems and pay rent on time, it shows what the priorities are. I'll be looking for a good move in deal somewhere else as soon as my lease is up.

    I checked this place out because they offered $500 off of a month’s rent. The offfice staff gave a great tour and were very professional. I just signed a lease! I am excited to move in this summer!

  • Dont move here.

    You’re better off finding somewhere better. Stuff constantly breaks and theyre never on top of stuff. You have to tell the workers several times to do anything. Either get a new staff or you’re just going to get bad reviews.you guys are pathetic.

    I am satisfied with my entire experience at Western Station. I would have sign onto another lease if I wasn't moving out of state. I highly recommend anyone in the area looking for an apartment to tour this place.

    This is a nice apartment. My previous apartment was "luxury" but tiny. the pool and gym always felt crowded. I like that Western Station offers the same great things, but with more space at a similar cost.

    I've lived in a few different apartments in the area. I've always had some sort of problem somewhere (broken air conditioning, dirty laundry room). I have no complaints about Western Station. It has been my favorite apartment and I am renewing my lease. This is a big deal for me and I'm happy that I finally won't have to move again.
