Good location, bad management
July 16, 2024Good things first: * location is good and convenient from all shopping * transit to bus and train lines is good * maintenance is okay, and mostly quick to respond Not Good: * no place for kids to ride their bikes, skateboards, scooters, skates * rent increase each year, brining it to current market rate being offered to new tenants(despite the old tenants living in the same old apt for 5 years) * virtually no short term lease for 6 months/9 months(its always set to annual lease + $250 whether ...you choose 1 month, or 11 months lease)Property Manager Responded

Good place
August 30, 2020I have been living here for 4 years now and yes there have been a few issues here and there. I am one to try to fix things on my own first unless its too dangerous but the two issues I could not handle management fixed it in a few visits. I had a leaky roof and they replaced the roof on my apartment and every apartment in the complex. Due to the leaky roof my cabinet and microwave needed to be replaced. It took a little push and a firm email but it got replaced. Besides these 2 issues I have ...never had any major problems. The staff nows who I am and which apartment I live in and are always very friendly and willing to help and very understanding. I have never had a conversation with the office and not end satisfied that they were going to do what needed to be done. I had a friend that needed a place to stay for a few days and they called me asking about a stranger hanging out in the parking lot but after a very short and non intrusive explanation everything was fine. Its a very good place to live and would definitely recommend to anyone despite the two issues above. The new smart burners do take a bit longer to heat up but if you just crank it to high to let it heat up faster then adjust to proper temp its not bad. And I've never had my burners auto turn off after 5 minutes.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Not recommend - DO NOT MOVE
December 10, 2019I would not recommend this community as management is not care about the tenants. Recently they installed so called Smart burner and 90% tenants from community suffering from not having proper cooked food and kids having stomach pain due to not eating proper day to day food. Forcing tenants to use smart burner which auto shut off every five minutes and most of the tenants are working people and it takes 17 to 20 mins to cook only rice. Forget about other traditional item which we eat on our ...daily routine. Many of us reached out to management and raise our concern but they not giving any positive response and they promised we will get live demo but they just cooked by themselves and sent email with pictures because they know that this bad boy takes forever to cook and if we give demo then things will become more worst so just send email. Great Apartment (Especially for the Price)
August 1, 2017Westgate Village offers great apartments that look incredible on the inside. We have lived here for a little over 2 months, and are very happy with our decision to move here. The price may not seem like a great deal at first, but compared to other apartments along the MainLine, it is very reasonable. We have a 2 bedroom which offers us a ton of living space with almost 1200sqft. The inside of the apartments look great as well, with very nice kitchens and bathrooms and good size rooms throughout ...the rest of the apartment. Another bonus is that all the amenities are included in your rent, unlike some other places where you have to pay to use the pool, gym, etc. The location is also terrific, being close to Giant, Wegmans, Target, and a variety of other bars and restaurants. August 16, 2015Hello my name is Brittany whaley and me and three of my friends just recently moved into our first apartment up near our school, Immaculata university! We are very excited because our apartment is very nice! It has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, dinning room, and kitchen! It has many closets and that's good for us! College girls need a lot of closet space! Our kitchen has a dishwasher which helps save a lot of time! We also have a washer and dryer right in our apartment! August 20, 2015West gate village apt is like my dream apartment. It consist of a club house, gym, swimming pool , tennis court and a large play area for kids. All leasing office staffs r very co-operative and the maintainens also done well. We have a free Zumba , pilaties , yoga and Aqua Zumba class in our apartment which I love the most. We have lot of space for evening walk also. Apartment rooms r very specials and bright. We get a feel of an independent house. Rent is also reasonable. August 20, 2015I really like the location and convenient to ride to highways 202, 30 and 76. Rooms are spacious in a townhome apartment with 3bd/ 2.5b. Although, I would have prefered to stay in a 2bd apartment but it only has a single bath. Good amenities with well maintained surroundings. August 19, 2015d and I moour grandchildouod to Westgate to be close to his mother. The apartment is very nice and a great size. The thing I like most is we could be here for Ted's mother, it's right in the middle of both our jobs. I really like the fact you can't hear your neighbors through the walls. The amenities are great. August 4, 2015I love our apartment and community. We have 4 free aerobic classes a week a gym and a pool. Everyone is very friendly and on those rare occasions something goes wrong the maintenance team fixes it quickly and is always very kind.Review from Apartments.com
