        The longer I live here the more issues I have. There are a few pros (proximity to stores/public transportstion) but mostly negative experiences lately. I reported hearing rodents in my walls and heater and they did nothing. They did not reach out to me at all. Management is clearly trying to clean up the aesthetics due to the competition being built right next to it, but are not addressing the real problems. Something needs to be done about the garbage everywhere. Every corner you turn down in my ...
        building there is a pile of trash. Trash room is overrun by rodents that scurry around every time you open the door. I see dead rodents often. My unit has NO airflow and gets extremely hot during the day and freezing at night. Packages get stolen everyday. Security is useless. Residents have no care for the community they live in. This is my final months living here and I couldn’t be happier to get away from this place. I would not recommend Westlake Apartments.

        Nicola did an excellent job with the maintenance in my apartment. He was very respectful, professional, and friendly during the entire visit. He arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure all the repairs were completed correctly before leaving. I really appreciated how efficient and organized he was while working, and he also cleaned up everything afterward. It’s not always easy to find people who truly care about doing quality work, but Nicola definitely did. The whole process ...

        We have lived here since Feb 2020, moving in right before Covid shut the world down. The management Christina and Josey have been great as well as the leasing and resident services office staff. We had to move into another unit due to being harassed by a neighbor and they were great moving us one floor up to another unit. I am disabled and living in a large building so far from my car and stairs made it difficult at times for me to walk to my apartment. When a 2 bedroom cottage with parking ...
        nearby became open last year Christina called and asked if I wanted to view it. She and Josie made the transfer smooth and worked with us on the dates. The move went perfect and they even found a storage unit near our cottage on Forest Grove. I plan to live here long term and love it. It’s convenient to transportation, shopping and my doctors offices are easy to get to from here as well.

        Living at Westlake in Daly City has been a comfortable and convenient experience. The community is quiet, well-maintained, and located close to shopping centers, restaurants, and public transportation, which makes everyday living much easier. I’ve appreciated the responsive management team and the overall sense of safety around the property. The location also offers easy access to both San Francisco and nearby areas, making it ideal for work, school, and daily activities.

        Great place to live overall. Quiet neighborhood. The major detractor for me is that there's no real amenities and/or incentives. You pay for your rent trash, sewer, water, and "online bill processing" which is very unusual in my experience as a renter. Rent really needs to start including those things for me to consider giving 5 stars.
