One of the WORST managed Apartments in western Washington

This property is very POORLY managed, and we use the term "managed" very loosely. These folks don't have a clue what they are doing !!!! There is always difficulty in finding a parking space because there isn't enough on the property, there is a CONSTANT mold problem in many of the units. There have been many car break-ins, and some cars STOLEN from the property. They attempt to advertise that the property is a "gated community" so that you feel safe, but that is Absolute NONSENSE. operated entry gates are BROKEN most of the time and left wide open !!!! They dont care about your safety or security, they just want your money !!!!!! There is ONLY one security camera on the premises, and when I asked them when they were going to install more security cameras for proper security, I was told that there was NO plans to do so !!!!! Also, remember that the property is next to a CEMETERY, you will be sleeping next door to the "Crypt Keeper." !!!!!!! Actual rating: 0.0000.

Okay living, bad ending

We lived here for a year and overall had a great experience, even though we couldn't see the unit before moving in and it was much older than they made it sound. The staff was friendly, maintenance was prompt and helpful, and the grounds were always kept nice. We liked our apartment well enough and had no complaints when we lived there, save for the lack of parking. But after we moved out we received the list of charges they deducted from our security deposit and they were outrageous. We cleaned ...
the apartment top to bottom and left it better than we found it, and yet they still charged us $110 for cleaning (which was much higher than the price we agreed to for any necessary cleaning on the move-out notice). They also charged us for things beyond our control which had nothing to do with us as tenants. And the charges we understood (filling screw holes and small paint touch ups) were grossly over charged. We could have done it ourselves but they insisted they take care of it and it wouldn't be a big deal. Every time I spoke with them before move out about things we could do to help get our deposit back, they assured us unless we destroyed the apartment we should get it back. I contacted them after receiving the information about the charges and they said they had no control over it and directed me to email their management company, who they said would reply promptly. I received no response however, from them or another email to the apartment staff. So we had a decent year living here, but I would not recommend them because of the inconsistent and inconsiderate manner in which they handled our check out and damage/deposit fees.

We paid our deposit, first and last months rent, $500 pet fee. At move out they changed me over $1,200 in cleaning fee's. I asked the office what to expect when we move out and what kind of changes we would have. They told me that I would get half my deposit back if I cleaned the place before leaving. I didn't leave any mess and I have never had an apartment do this. It's a low income area and they charge people who go check to check every month these insane fees after moving out. Our water ...
heater broke because of the rust build up at the bottom of the tank. It's was definitely not to code. Our upstairs neighbors broke and leaked through our ceilings, left water trenches throughout the apartment and we are expected to replace the carpet do to so called (animal damage) We had a leak in our kitchen/ dinning room that was never fixed even though we filled a report. Our living room wall was splitting due to a horrible dry wall job. Parking is horrible and your cars will be towed. Garbage area is disgusting. This was the worst apartment I have ever lived in.

This place is great. Everyone around is nice. The management staff is great with helping you with whatever you need. There's a free gym and free computers to use during the day. There's always plenty of parking, and it's a gated complex. The only downside is outside of the complex the neighborhood is kind of sketchy. But if you've ever lived anywhere in the area it isn't anything new.

My apartments have been renovated so they look brand new. I'm a very tall guy but surprisingly I can fit my whole body in the tub with ease so for all you bathroom lovers this will certainly seal the deal. I don't cook but the kitchen is huge. Recently had a get together and the living room of a one bedroom accomadated roughly 20 people with ease so there is ample room. My California king bed fits into my room with room to spare. For all you fitness gurus the gym is fitted with the latest ...
equipment and after you've exerted yourself there's a swimming pool and a hot tub to rest your aching bones. Its also a gated community which gives you a sense of security. The staff is courteous and a joy to work with. Last but certainly not least, the apartments are walking/driving distance from anything you may want or need. Might I add its only a 10 minute walk from the Tacoma Mall. Do yourself a favor and come here before anywhere else.
