Heartless and Uncompassionate Toward Military Families
July 1, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comI reached out to Westmar Student Lofts with a sincere and urgent request to cancel my daughter’s upcoming lease due to an unforeseen family hardship. We are an active military family As a result, our daughter can no longer move to Atlanta as planned. Despite providing clear documentation of this hardship and asking for compassionate consideration, Westmar coldly denied our request. Their response referenced fine print from the lease and refused to make any exception, even under serious family ...and military-related circumstances. Their lack of empathy toward a military family is disheartening. We serve this country and make sacrifices every day—and this is how we’re treated? It’s unfortunate to see a company prioritize profit over basic decency. If you’re a military family, student, or anyone who may face life changes beyond your control, think twice before signing a lease with Westmar.
