For The Price
September 14, 2015Sure you can go live in a much fancier apartment. Before you choose to though, let me tell you about this place. My girlfriend and I live in a one bedroom unit and pay $695. Sometimes the neighbors suck but it's an apartment, what do you expect? I will say this though; the property managers, Bob and Kayla, are very fair and honest people. Bob came to fix our toilet when the assembly in the tank on the back went out on us on very short notice. Did I mention that was on Christmas day that he ...interrupted his plans to come help us? He didn't call someone else and tell them they had to come fix it, he came to fix it and I was very grateful for that! Overall there are some things that I'm not fond of but I could see myself living here another couple of years until we can find that dream house. Good - but non-smokers beware
July 30, 2015Overall, a pleasant place to live. Units are clean and affordable, especially for a young professional looking for decent space. The staff is fantastic. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly, sometimes even same day. I work about an hour south of the Twin Cities, but living in Hastings allows me to be in between work and all the excitement of the cities. My only complaint regards the non-smoking advertisement. The units themselves are supposed to be smoke free, but smoking is allowed on ...the patios/balconies. This means that if neighbors are smoking, it is generally uncomfortable for me to sit out on my balcony, and as a result I don't get to use it very often. I've also had issues with not even being able to have my windows open if the breeze is strong. So non-smokers should be aware of which way the wind blows!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
