Roaches everywhere

There is an infestation of roaches here. My biggest complaint. Maintenance is great. The office is friendly but these roaches are why I'm giving 2 stars. I pay for my own pest control and have tried everything. I am not renewing my lease as rent keeps going up on top of it.

I’ve been living here now for almost two months and I absolutely love my unit. I have a renovated unit with all black appliances (no issues with any of them and they were brand new) and I love how bright and open my living room is! I decorated with whites and greys to complement the design of my apartment. I love how it has a bunch of windows so I don’t have to use any lights during the day. And I love the floors (not carpeted except in the bedroom) No issues upon moving in. No roaches/other ...

bugs or issues with things not working. It was VERY clean. The only issue I had was no door stoppers, but maintenance came and provided some immediately. Also my bathroom door wasn’t closing all the way, but that was a small fix as well. Otherwise everything else was perfect Lastly, I love how clean they keep the outside area of the property. Anytime I see any trash or debris it’s gone the next day. They are constantly working to keep our home clean and I appreciate that so much (coming from my previous apartments that were always trashed). I love all the trees surrounding the apartments. Makes me feel like a fairy living in an enchanted Forrest lol. Also. I love the ladies in the rent office! Carmen and Patricia are always so kind and friendly to me! Love seeing them when I come in to get a package. I could say more, but basically my home here at Westwood is perfect. It’s quiet, clean and peaceful. I am beyond happy that I choose to say here! The only bad thing I can say is I wish there was more than one garbage compactor and more than one pool (hence why I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5) but otherwise very happy so far!

Worst complex ever. My boyfriend was carjacked at gunpoint at the facilities. Management deactivated both of our gate keys when I called and asked them to deactivate his key that was stolen. I was locked out of the complex in the dark, 20 yards from the incident FEARING for my life. Nobody returned my phone calls, the manager finally got around to calling me back and reprimanded me for raising my voice..... gate has also been broken now for 3 months. They won’t let us out of our lease or release ...
