Perfect, large, quiet apartment complex!
July 13, 2025I’ve lived all over Texas — from Nacogdoches to North Texas, and Central Texas/Austin area — and I still think fondly of Whisper Oaks. It was my first college apartment, and honestly, it’s been my favorite ever since! The location is fantastic: quiet neighborhood, close to shops, restaurants, SFA, and NHS. But what really made it stand out was the peaceful environment — you don’t hear your neighbors through the walls like you do in so many newer complexes. That alone made a huge difference ...during college when I needed to focus or get a good night’s sleep. It also felt safe, and anytime my roommate or I had a maintenance issue, it was handled immediately. The service was always fast, friendly, and reliable. Plus, it’s not on fraternity or sorority row, which meant no late-night noise or party messes left behind in the yard. Jennifer at Simpson Real Estate was (and is!) an absolute gem of a property manager — hands down the best I’ve ever dealt with.
