Smokers Paradise
April 10, 2021Most of the people that live here smoke, and the smoking policy (or lack there of) is not strictly enforced with consequences. Residents will smoke cigarettes in their unit and the will smoke travel into other units and the halls.. Hopefully you don’t mind your clothes smelling of smoke and breathing that in all the time. Silver fish are always finding their way in and you’ll see them running around the tub or the sink. Also a few times the water actually came out brown from the faucets. No ...elevator in this place and the hallway carpets are old school/nasty. Spend a little more money and get a descent place, especially if you’re a non smoker. The landlord is nice, the location is good, and maintenance is responsive but those are about the only positives I can think of.Property Manager Responded

While we are not a smoke-free building and all tenants may choose to smoke in their homes, we do everything we can to ensure smoke doesn't travel into neighboring homes. Silverfish are a common pest that can easily be remedied with extermination, I wish we had known about this and we could have taken care of it for you! The city does "flush" their main line water occasionally which may cause short periods of discolored water throughout the city of White Bear Lake. And I am happy to let you know that our hallways and stairwells are being completely re-carpeted this summer! We thank you for your residency and wish you the best of luck!

Nice place to live
August 8, 2018I have lived here for a few years now. I recently moved into a more updated apartment and I love it. The neighborhood is quiet and it's in a great location, really close to downtown White Bear. Easy parking both on and off street. Staff is nice and mattience issues are responded to quickly. I have only had 2 myself which were both minor. I would recommend this place.Review from Apartments.com

Great Place to live!
April 19, 2018I lived here for 11 years, raised my child here and I loved it. Maintenance issues were taken care of right away, buildings and grounds were always kept up. Manager is very professional, helpful, nice and very involved with the complex. Its also a great price for the size of the apartment especially in this area!Review from Apartments.com
Pretty Good for the Price
January 17, 2018I've been here almost a year now. While the building and units are outdated, it's still decent living for the price. Overall the tenants are quiet and friendly in my building (with only minor issues). Laundry units are old and small, which does pose a problem with washing large items like bedding and towels, and it is only 1 W/D per floor. Parking is also a bit of a hassle, as the small parking lot cannot accommodate all the residents, so many have to park on the street. The property manager is ...also nice and accommodating. They've been slowly doing exterior updating, with interior updating in the works (so I was told). White Bear Manor
August 20, 2015So far, I've enjoyed staying here. The landlord has been very helpful to me throughout my whole stay, she even found me a roommate to replace my old one. Honestly, the only thing I would have to say I'm unsatisfied with is the quality of things in the apartment such as the carpet and the dish washer and stove. I've had to have many things fixed since I've been here, and I'm only just finishing my first year lease. Otherwise, it's the cheapest in the area and great for the price. It's a roof over your head...
July 30, 2015In my apartment, it doesn't look like it has been touched since 1973. Cabinets are old, countertops are old as well. The walls are incredibly thin and I can hear my neighbors television when no on is doing laundry. Some units have been renovated and those aren't as bad. Shared laundry is kind of a hassle with only one washer drier unit per floor, and they are old machines that like to break down. Rent is cheap and the people aren't bad, if you are starting out, this is a decent place to be.Review from Apartments.com
