Bad News. Seriously….
April 20, 2025Our experience at Wildwood Villa Rica was deeply frustrating due to poor maintenance, cleanliness, and safety. Despite multiple maintenance visits, our dryer remained broken for five months until we mentioned moving out—then they suddenly fixed it. The gated entry system rarely worked, forcing residents to tailgate others just to get inside. Trash and neglect were common across the property, including the dog park and fences, with staff showing little concern even when a dead animal was left by ...our door for days. Children were often unsupervised, riding bikes in the street and even damaging cars without consequence, creating a dangerous environment. The gym was sweltering, filthy, and barely functional, with machines often broken and mold likely growing. The constant smell of marijuana and complete lack of rule enforcement made the environment feel unchecked and unprofessional. Though the leasing office sells a dream, the reality is a mismanaged property that we cannot recommend.Property Manager Responded

Unprofessional complex
March 20, 2025While maintenance and the staff are very nice, it takes weeks for thier staff to respond to emails or calls, and when they do, it feels as if they do the bare minimum to help with your situation. We paid to get out of our lease early because out of the 4 months we were there, my dryer only worked for 2 weeks, we had a dead raccoon outside our door for 4 days, and thier response to that was " call animal services because my work day is over," we paid for a gated community, and since the signing of ...our lease the gate never worked, and the property was filled with broken liquor bottles, cigarette buds, and garbage (like mannequin heads). The so-called "wooded view", is just a view of the woods, with garbage like old grills, boxes, and food trash thrown over the fence. When you tour the apartment, ask to tour the "amenities." The car wash doesn't work, the dog park is unmaintained, the gym machines don't work, and more. The staff did not handle any of our requests or answer any questions promptly, if at all. Understand when you sign a lease with WildWood, you are expected to uphold your end of the lease, but they are not. Also, before signing, make sure you research the management company of Wildwood. They are called First Communities and receive a 1.8-star review on Google.Property Manager Responded

Run from here as fast as you can!
March 5, 2024Nothing but issues. Was told I had a 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms. Nope, one bathroom. With the movers waiting, I relented and accepted the apartment. Worse decision ever! Unknown to me, a bug bomb had been set off but no one cleaned it up before I moved in. Once in, German roaches were found in the kitchen. I called to have the apartment sprayed but after many times of spraying, they were still in my apartment. On 8/24/23, I sent an email requesting that the roach issue be addressed. Originally, I was ...told I couldn’t move because of the fear of roaches traveling in my belongings. After another email, they said they had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath available but my rent would go up. Another option, my rent would remain the same but would be charged a transfer fee to move. That was the last straw. After dealing with German roaches left by the last tenant, I accepted the fact management didn’t care and moved out. By the way, I did have a new refrigerator when I moved in because the old one was infested with German roaches Dog poop everywhere, dumpster overflowing, trash valet unreliableProperty Manager Responded

Great Spot
May 15, 2023I just moved here not too long ago and am enjoying it so far. Definately enjoy the amenities and cant wait to try out the pool this month. Plus side here is they keep this pool open past September! Super close to the hwy to cut time to get to work. So far no complaints here.Property Manager Responded

Don’t move here
November 2, 2021If you like emails about stuff the leasing office is too lazy to fix then move here. The buildings are filthy and need to be pressure washed. Trash everywhere. Gate is constantly Broken probably why our cars get broken into. They are lazy and throw fines at everyone. I can not wait until my lease it up here.Property Manager Responded

Great Place To Stay
August 19, 2021We are less than two minutes from I 20, Walmart is within walking distance. There is a sidewalk that leads all the way to town. Great for exercise route! We enjoy the pool, and the neighbors are quiet! I have been here since 2019 and this is a very peaceful and safe area. Nothing is perfect, but Wildwood Glen comes close!Property Manager Responded

Feels like home.
August 18, 2021My son and I moved here in march of 2019. One of my favorite was the gated community, I wanted to feel safe in a place I call home and Wildwood has definitely given me that experience. Don’t make a time tour available @12:30
April 13, 2019Me and my fiancé was so excited to see this 1 bedroom so we scheduled a 12:30 tour appointment. We were there and so was another couple and were locked until we decided that maybe this was sign that we shouldn’t move in to these apartments Never schedule your appointment at 12:30! Great Start; Recent Disappointment
April 1, 2018My family moved in last April, and our experience has mostly been excellent. However, about a month ago, our air conditioning stopped functioning properly. It will turn on, but won't blow cold air. After asking for a repair several weeks ago, two men came out at different times to check on the unit. Neither made any comment about the status of the unit, and neither gave us any indication of when the issue would be corrected. After being assured by office staff on three different occasions ...(including Friday, two days ago) that the issue would be corrected, it still isn't producing cold air. I put our dogs away on three different occasions so that the maintenance staff would have an easier time working on the unit, but each time I extended the courtesy, it was done in vain. On one of the occasions that the maintenance workers did show up, it was unannounced in the morning when my wife was in bed and I was gone to work. This does not inspire confidence in the Wildwood community. As a result, my wife and I are hosting her parents for Easter with no air conditioning. The windows are open, so the temperature is bearable but not comfortable. I had hoped for a more pleasant experience for my daughter's first Easter, but Wildwood has let us down.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
