Previous tendon
June 7, 2025If you are a woman do not move here. There is no help when you have any form of a maintenance issue at night they do not offer 24 hours assistance not to mention the front desk manager is very rude and disrespectful. They allowed three men to walk into my apartment while I was unclothed without my permission or pre-notifying me, the owners of the apartment refused to answer my messages pertaining to the event. The manager will not talk to me about it and also informed her staff not to because ...they know it’s wrong, somebody should know. The other staff are kind. Nice pool.Property Manager Responded

We do have 24 hour maintenance that can be reached by calling our leasing office and following the prompts, however we do apologize if there were any issues reaching the maintenance team at that time. We did make sure to communicate our Smart Lock upgrade project to the entire community via email on several occasions, however, we certainly apologize for any breakdowns in communication during that process. The miscommunication was discussed in a private meeting in the leasing office shortly after it occurred, any additional in-person meetings would have been welcomed if requested. We made sure to use the miscommunication as a coaching moment for our maintenance team at the time, to make sure that they were properly announcing themselves when entering apartment homes. May 27, 2025The application process was very smooth, I enjoyed working with the team on securing my apartment! The only thing I’d suggest is perhaps a welcome break package of some sort (a candle, welcome mat, a pen/notebook, it doesn’t have to be anything expensive). Hidden Gem
April 21, 2025I moved here almost a year ago, and I have enjoyed my experience. The building is nice and well kept. Carpets in the halls can sometimes hold an odor, but they are maintained well. The amenities are nice, but the gym could stand to get a facelift with new equipment (I.e., stair master, more seated workout machines). My apartment is beautiful. Any issues I’ve ever had (minor), maintenance has been quick to resolve them. The location is great. Walkable and easy access to downtown. Local downtown ...Decatur is close, and it’s never more than 20ish minutes to anywhere in the city! Overall, a positive first rental experience.Property Manager Responded

April 19, 2025I’ve been a resident of Willis Avondale for almost 1 year & so far I’ve had a pleasant experiment. I love the modern & chic look of the interior & the stainless steel appliances. I love how convenient stores, shops, & food places are to Willis Avondale. Lastly, the monthly activities hosted by the leasing office are so perfect & thoughtful for residents!
