January 6, 2017I don't know who left the last two recommendations but they are lies. The town homes are nice and are in a very quiet neighborhood with families that is the wonderful part. But here are the negative parts.... 1. Maintenance Requests...Nothing is ever handled when it is supposed to. They always say they are coming back but never do until months later when you forget which I don't like. Then you have someone coming in your house when you least expect it. 2. Rental Office...... I have lived here for ...the past two years and see new faces every couple of months seem like. I don't even like talking to the Leasing Agents because I think they forgot about Customer Service Skills. I rather talk to management to get stuff handled. 3. Pests......Mice Mice Mice Infested.....They have the exterminators come and lay sticky pads (that do not work) throughout the entire house instead of trying to find the root of the problem. Like where they are coming from. Not just fixing the small holes. Nobody should be cleaning up feces and stuff everyday and the mice not being caught. Not everyone can live with a cat especially when you are allergic. 4. Parking......Now you have to fight to even try to get a good parking in front of your house because you have people with 10 million cars to one house trying to take up all of the parking spots on the main street instead of having the extra cars pack out back in the parking lot so everyone has the opportunity to park in front of their homes. Then you have some people who don't even know how to park and take up 2 parking spots. 5. Rooms....Are small. It is better for one adult and small kids. 6. Closet Space....You won't have any nor will you have any storage space. 7. Paint Jobs.....The walls start showing their true colors and fading. Just terrible. 8. Laundry Centers.....You're better off going to Sudsville. 9. Schools.....Terrible especially that North Bend Elem/Middle TERRIBLE. 10. Water Bill.....You have to pay one living here So I would think long and hard before moving here. I am two years in and I don't know why they keep raising the rent when you don't have ANY amenities to show for the pricing. I much rather move back out in the County with great schools, room, washer and dryer in my home and amenities to for what I am paying for here. Not worth the money.Property Manager Responded

Loved it stayed for 9 years
April 3, 2016I lived here for 9 years and I loved it I had the best side directly on Williston it was great . I had a break in and some items were stolen but the property did everything in there power to make me feel safe and even encouraged and made it mandatory to get security systems .. I stayed there 3 years after that and things were perfect . Parking was great . Maintenance moved around a bit but and so did office staff but I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend anyone to the Williston property ...:))the design of the townhome was lovely ..Property Manager Responded

To live or Not to live
October 12, 2015Living at Jamestowne and Williston Townhomes has been an experience to the least. Upon moving in I was able to choose which side i wanted to live on based on availability at the time. So of course I chose the quieter side as I have a one year old. My neighbors ha 've been amazing and very community like. We all stick together. The leasing office has changed just in the year I've been here and customer service seems to be trying to make a comeback. I really enjoy living here outside of the slow ...maintenance requests and the bugs/pest. The bugs are your typical spiders, crickets so no biggie bug spray will take care of it. As for the pest (mice) for my first 4 months my son and I had to deal with the sneaky little pest as there was an entire family living in the walls. The leasing office was very adamant about fixing the issue. It just took a little longer than I had anticipated. Cleaning up the feces and overcleaning (packing up dishes and food, pulling out clothing and personals) became a bit much but eventually the job was taken care of. I will repeat the maintenance crew is very slow when it comes to completing orders. Other than that the house is fine rent price is decent and the area has its good days and bad. I'd recommend this as a starter place for a family or someone looking to save up for a next step.Property Manager Responded
