May 18, 2023the kitchen had roaches just days after we moved in, didn't even use it yet. we called pest control and I kid you not the man knocked on the door and walked away immediately without even waiting a second. I could see him from my bedroom window and got up to let him in before he even knocked and he left. never returned after that, I had to deal with it myself, barely even used the kitchen bc I was so grossed out. go somewhere else!Review from Apartments.com

January 26, 2021We moved into WillowBrooke last year and I have to say it has been great! The grounds are always kept up looking nice and the staff is super friendly! The apartments themselves are well maintained and up to date. Maintenance is excellent, if there are any issues, they're right on it. The area is great too, plenty of walking trails around the area and who doesn't want to live right next to Target lol. Very quiet as well, haven't had any issues with noise. It has been a plesant experience here so ...far, glad we chose this community.Property Manager Responded

Wonderful and safe aparments
March 28, 2019I love it here! Yes they raise the rent yearly; however, their maintenance is ongoing. The maintenance dept. should receive an award for all the work they do to make sure this place sparkles. Office staff is terrific and I feel they really care about everyone who lives here. Beware! They will manufacture expenses in order to keep your security deposit
October 14, 2015The community itself is nice. But there is a reason for a one star review... Upon signing the lease it's all wine and roses. When leaving after your lease is up beware! They tack on ridiculous charges to you and essentially wipe out your security deposit so that you get nothing back. I was actually told I owed money for the postage to send me the letter detailing all these ridiculous charges. After disputing these charges I received a small check for what they called a reasonable amount owed, ...in October. I left June 30th. They took several pictures documenting why they were not returning all my money. I didn't even hang pictures on the walls. No damage of any kind. They actually charged me for leaving my drapes for the next people. And the oven was 'dirty'. They also provided pictures of several wall corners that showed no damage at all but I guess they claim they had to repair them. More lies. I left the apartment in the exact condition that it was in when I moved in. So boys and girls if you decided to give these thieves a chance and rent from them take pictures upon your arrival and your departure. Document everything because they will try to keep your entire security deposit even though they will assure you that you'll get it all back. Decent apartments, terrible people. Willowbrooke lakeland
August 25, 2015Willowbrooke is a wonderful place to live. Very pet friendly and clean. I haven't had much of an issue with bugs, one or two cockroaches here and there. The pool and fitness center are nice and are convenient to walk to. All of the office staff is wonderful, very helpful whether you call, email, or walk in to the office. The only thing I don't like is having to take the trash to the compactor. Maintenence is usually done when you request it, either the day of or the day after the work order is ...put in.
