It was the worst. It was bad from the get go: landlady tried to get me to pay for the whole month even though the apartment was not ready for move-in until somewhere around the 20th day of the month. When I moved in, the apartment was dirty. The guys from the moving company shook their heads in disbelief. Many things were in disrepair - there was no hot water from time to time, etc. cuz things broke. Management was inept. The landlady blamed me for the issues. The manager and the landlady’s ...

husband smoke on-site. I rented the apartment because the price was cheap, but I really regretted it. The landlady was the most shady that I’ve ever encountered. Run from this place, the cheap rent isn’t worth it.

Bedbugs!

I'm glad that we avoided the place. We spotted traces of bedbugs right after deposit. When we mentioned to the landlord that we would like to conduct independent inspection she asked us to sign termination right away. This complex has to be closed and treated for bedbugs. Or ideally demolished for new construction...

Landlord is not honest

Landlord every year try to increase the rent. She is never honest, can't remember what she promised. Always try to cheat. I lived there 2 years in one apartment and from beginning(after 4-5 month) I had a bedbugs which we couldn't rid off until 2 years. She blamed us whole the time, but turns out our neighbor has bedbugs. We moved out just because of bed bugs, and not only us faced this issue. She blamed us and refused to treat anymore. Be careful of BED BUGS!

Old appliances and upholstery, incompetent management (takes forever to repair things). Laundry machines are old/broken. Landlord tries to cheat you: tried to increase rent from the posted price when I signed the lease; told me of rent increase a year later via email, then sent over paperwork with higher rent than what was agreed. Loud noise from street and from upstairs neighbors. Hot water can take 10 minutes to get warm.
