Warning: 5/2022 they will lease you apartments with bedbugs and expect you to deal with it until they exterminate. They don’t care about you being Inconvenienced or uncomfortable. They will not offer you another unit. They expect you to deal with the unsafe/unhealthy environment you did not know you signed a lease for.

Very lovely place to stay. have been here for 2 years now. Very nice neighborhood, calm and peaceful, safe place to stay. Great maintenance team, they are quick, friendly. If we place any maintenance request they will be here on the same day and resolve the issue. Great customer support. Some maintenance issues will be responded quickly 24/7. We have had an AWFUL time living here and working with the company. We originally signed for an apartment at a different location but were told a week before the move-in date that the apartment was no longer available without any reason (they did not allow us to have an official copy of the lease at signing, so they could technically do whatever they wanted to). As we had already signed a lease and had to be out of our current apartments, we had no choice but to pay extra for the apartment they ...
were forcing us into. The "new" apartment appeared to have been vacant for some time, which makes sense as to why they wanted it filled. It was filthy and has now become the bane of my existence. We have spent the year making countless maintenance requests (the maintenance man deserves a reward), filing multiple complaints to the health department, and digging into our own pockets to get things fixed. We have dealt with a mice infestation and large rats for the entire lease (3 months left, thank God!), despite keeping our spaces clean. Most importantly, we have not been supplied with a sanitary, livable space since the move-in date. In short, the company put us through the wringer and still continues to do so. I would not suggest this place to my worst enemy. I cannot wait for my lease to end.

The apartments are nice and spacious but unfortunately I have a dirty neighbor below me and my home has been infested with roaches and mice since they recently moved. The exterminator has come plenty of times and it has not made a difference. I would like to be transferred but they expect me to pay 450 for a transfer. I do not pay all this money to have mice all over my house and roaches

The only real issue with the place is maintenance. Everything in the apartments is very old. Keep your renters insurance up to date. Water heaters have flooded in my apartment and above. Frig leaks on my floor every other day. Ac is down for the 6th time. Unfortunately it takes at least 5-6 calls for the issue to be repaired. Hold time for customer service averages 20 mins. I'm a good tenant so it's frustrating.

This place is so amazing. It is beautiful, serene and quiet. When my husband and I first began searching for a new place and stumbled upon The Lakes Property it was a wonderful beginning. First, they have an information center that provide you with maps and directions to guide you to tour the 6 properties that they own. The fellow properties expect you when you arrive because the information center has faxed your information to them. You have options from 1-2 bedrooms with a den in the apts as ...
well as Townhomes. They give you the keys to enter certain models and we were never disappointed. In fact, we were indecisive about which property we wanted to rent. We finally decided to rent at the Wintergreen property. When you pick up your keys to move in they also give you a care package, which i thought was very nice. It included an roll of toilet paper and an roll of paper towels, a residential booklet with important numbers and also a paper to jot down things that may be damaged so that they will know, correct it, and not charge you for the mishaps. We are on the second floor and have a balcony that faces a small meadow and lake where you wake up to deers frollicking past. This is a couples, families property. A playground is right across from our building but does not effect us as far as noise. You have key access to enter the bldg and you also have storage unit in the bldg as well. Some of the properties are renovated whereas some of them are not. The laundry room is located on the first floor, which is change accessible. Overall the property we have chose is a great choice for us thus far. If you love to have peace and serenity this is where it's at.
