Bug infestations they spray which makes all the ants come up which they obviously have deeper problems they aren’t taking care of . April 6, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comI was promised one price and when it came time to sign the lease, they had upped the price by $100/month! It was already overpriced for what you get... Carpet is disgusting with stains all over and crusty spots. The apartment reeks of smoke and if you have a smoker nearby, good luck ever enjoying your patio or opening your window/door. The marijuana smell will fill up the hallway and seep into your apartment too. If you are lucky like me, you have to walk outside and around to get to the laundry ...facilities. The walls are beyond thin so you will hear everything your neighbors do (good luck to any 3rd shifters). No dishwasher. No freedom to select your own internet as you have to use their overpriced internet. Dogs are off their leashes, rarely on. Beware of package and item stealers! The water in the shower is pee-yellow when you first turn it on. Very little storage compared to other area apartments. Also no coverage/roof so if you get a 2nd floor unit, you can't put anything out you don't expect to get soaked. I think I covered everything but could truly write an essay on this place! Be Careful - Very Dishonest
February 4, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comAfter I signed my lease and a week before I was due to move in, I received a notice saying that if I wanted internet, it is only provided through them at $72. When I called the leasing agent to ask why I was not informed of this before I signed the lease, I was told she would speak to her manager to see what they can do. That afternoon, I received a missed call from the leasing agent. Her exact words left on my voicemail were, “I’m not going to cancel this move-in until you tell me that’s what ...you want me to do. If I don’t hear back from you for a few days, then I will end up having to cancel it.” After shopping around, I called back the next morning to let them know that I will be keeping the apartment and I would not need their internet. Tmobile had the same service for $50, without having to use their connection. The assistant manager, told me I was taken off the apartment, and they would have to resubmit my lease. She said she would get back to me. When I called the next day, I was told my rent went up. By coincidence, the internet service I decided not to keep was around the same amount of the increase. October 30, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comNot worth what we’re paying! Everything is pretty old and outdated. Our electric stove had to be fixed a couple times and still doesn’t work right. We’ve been waiting for our sliding glass door to get fixed for almost a whole year after asking SEVERAL separate times since last nov. We had to put gorilla tape around the edges and down the middle where the gap is to try and keep the cold air out and had our heat cranked all winter because of the door being broken.. not sure why it hasn’t been done ...yet but now we’re coming up on another winter with it being broken. October 30, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comAll utilities are covered except for electric which is great! We were a bit concerned the area was sketchy since it’s Kenosha. But its quiet. There’s lots of Newly constructed homes which help create peace. It’s a 10mins walk from UW Parkside. The units could use some updating, our carpet was stained heavily upon leasing. Though we did get new stainless appliances, older units still have white. We found NO mold compared to other reviews. Our windows do seem to let in a lot of noise however. We ...do have a great balcony with enough room for 2 outdoor chairs and a table. We had no issues walking out dog, there wasn’t any loose pets. Security could be updated; The hallways to get to your apartment has push doors with no locks. Therefore completely open to non tenants. Parking is first come first serve. Everyone at the leasing office was friendly and helpful. We searched for an apartment for almost 5 months. We needed something affordable, pet friendly and a quiet area. WoodCreek Apartments provided that. Yes it’s Kenosha, but don’t be discouraged by that. It does not have any of the crime, and grime that the city is known for. July 6, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comFirst stains on the carpet that look like mustard...had to wash the walls full.of smoke all over and we had brown spots falling on us everyrime we took a shower...mold all over the window ledges and condensarion in the winter. They control the heat and its ways freaked cold in here. Stove broke is vwry old and dishwasher broke already. Carpets were filthy had to wash them. Management are jerks and are stupid the same. Peoe upstaira argue and I cant walk my dog when i want to vuz people are always ...having their dogs off the leash management does nothing about it. It smells in here all the time and is so stuffy cant sleep half the time. Save your monwy and go somewhere else. This place is.not worth it.Read More

April 3, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comPROS -snow removal always done before 7am -hallways are cleaned by a pleasant lady regularly -grounds are well maintained and cared for quickly and at a reasonable hour (not super early or late and they're quick about it) - they have dog poop bag dispensers placed conveniently so the lawns are always pretty poopless even by the dog friendly buildings -rent is easy to pay (online) -have seen ONE spider in the year I've been here (no bugs!!) - cat AND dog friendly! CONS - you have to get ...internet through woodcreek - extra charge for paying rent online even though you have no other option than to pay online -people literally always park right by the office entrance making it basically a blind turn for drivers -dumpsters often fill quickly and overflow by the time they're emptied -tenants moving in and out a lot due to the short lease option (some people move in at all hours/take up multiple spots with uhauls) -VERY large breed restriction list for dogs (yapper dogs ((which are the ONLY dogs that bother me)) are ok but no pitty, bulldog, husky, dalmatian, etc. I have recommended Woodcreek to many people and will continue to recommend Woodcreek. Overall the good heavily outweighs the bad - I signed another year lease not too long ago and don't plan on moving anytime soon.Read More
