Management is garbage
June 3, 2022Honestly, not terrible apartments. They stay warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and dry when it's raining. All the appliances are relatively new-ish. The grass stays mowed. The main reason for this review is management is killing the place. I had to call 3 times to get my garbage disposal fixed. On three separate occasions, I've had somebody walk into my apartment unannounced. That's illegal. Anytime I've tried to talk to the office about an issue, on the couple times I actually managed to ...get ahold of somebody (they're NEVER in the office and even when they are, they refuse to answer the door of phone because they're lazy) they get an attitude and act like they're personally offended that you're asking them to do their job or just NOT WALK INTO SOMEBODY'S APARTMENT without warning. Seriously. Call the office or try to show up in person and see what kind of service you get. Nothing changes once you're living here. The only thing that drew me to the place was the price tag, but they're trying to raise that just because they slapped some paint on the buildings so there goes the one thing they had going for them. March 26, 2019The current Property Manager is one of the best Managers Woodbridge Apartments has had. She takes the time to listen without making you feel like you are bothering her and she does what she can to address any issue you are having. March 20, 2019Location is convenient for everything you need without having to drive across town and deal with a lot of traffic. You can go to the grocery store right around the corner without loading up the kids in a car. Awesome staff that does what they can to make you comfortable. You get what you pay for.
January 12, 2018I'm a current resident. Here is what I think about living here: Pros: 1.) Lower rent than surrounding areas. 2.) They kept the pool cleaner in 2017 than 2016. Hopefully they will do the same in 2018 when the pool opens. 3.) Management and maintenance due their best with what they have to spend. 4.) Very close to amenities such as Schnucks, fast food, library, schools, etc... 5.) The duck ponds add a little life to the community. Cons: 1.) It's snowing outside right now. In my years of ...living here, they have never shoveled the sidewalk and I won't be surprised if someone falls and sues them. 2.) They don't change the air filters in the apartments until you call and complain about it. 3.) During the night, many areas are not lit due to management not replacing outside light bulbs. 4.) The pavement, sidewalks and walkways are cracked and dipping in many places. Very few parking places and walkways don't have puddling issues. 5.) With cheaper rent comes lower-income households. Horrible staff, unreasonable rates, awful place to live.
August 1, 2016I have fortunately only had to suffer through Woodbridge for one year now. The staff is unreasonable and very unprofessional/ not present. on more than one occasion there will be no one in the leasing office during regular business hours. I suggest that they either change their hours or remain present when they say they will be. Balcony was condemned the entire duration of my lease there, and they started fixing it last week. I move out next week. But I got charged the hilarious 25 dollars extra ...per month for a lake view on the balcony I couldn't go on. working with stroke
October 10, 2015I love these apartments because when my dad had a stroke that changed his life last year , they were very cooperative with me ! They let me stay in my dads house and gave me time to raise money to try to pay the bills while my father was in the ICU for 5 months ! He is finally out and recovering but cannot work and does struggle with his bills , I am happy to say that they have helped set up payment arrangements to help us further . I am all my dad has , I am 19 years old and a single mother of ...not only my son but my father too ! August 3, 2015I have lived her for over 4 years. When we moved it it was a great value for what you got. One bedroom for 425. With onside laundry and pool. But in the past 4 year they have raised the rent by 80 and the apartments are falling into disrepair. Currently we can not use the balconies because they have rotted and it has been over 6 months and the have not been repaired. We have had 5 apartment managers and each one comes with a new rule we have to follow. They keep raising rent but do not want to ...put any money into the property.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
