Roof leaking no
August 15, 2023I relocated to Woodbrook apartments on July 12th with the expectation of a newly renovated dwelling. However, just a few weeks later on August 2nd, a distressing issue arose as the upper-floor bathroom began to leak, causing the ceiling of the guest bath to deteriorate. After a span of two weeks, a contractor was at last dispatched to assess the situation. In light of these unforeseen circumstances, I approached the management seeking reparation. Regrettably, their response, articulated by Alex, ...was that such compensation was not within their policies. Consequently, I find myself in a situation where the desirability of residing in this establishment is in question. Mediocre
April 15, 2019I was going to wait awhile to write a review on my experience here but had some change of plans. I have lived here for about half a year now so I'm pretty familiar with it's ups and downs. Pros: Management is friendly and informative Maintenance is responsive Decent pricing Well lit at night. Cons: Horrible roads. (These apartments were built in the 70s and these roads have clearly not been revamped since then. All the time I see people navigating around the large holes and dips in the roads, ...me included) The units have very poor sound insulation. I can hear my downstairs neighbors and outside way more than I should. Toilets do not flush well even after repeated maintenance visits. Just old. Often see little bugs inside even with repeated pest control visits. Poor complex security. NO CAMERAS ACROSS COMPLEX. This is 2019 and this apartment complex has NO CAMERAS covering any of the buildings or parking lots. The only cameras are inside the admin building.. There should have cameras on any apartment complex, let alone a 12 building complex... There was a recently a break-in outbreak where 18 cars(according police) had their door windows smashed and broken into at night. And what are the police gonna do? What can they do? NO CAMERAS... If you want to have any security to make you feel safe in your living space, I hope you feel comfortable with some locks and windows that can be broken because that'll be all you can get here without providing your own security.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 12, 2015Woodbrook Apartments are by far the nicest apartments in the northern Jefferson County area. 15 minutes to downtown Birmingham yet quiet and cozy. The 3rd floor, 3 bedroom/1 and 1/2 bath is nicely laid out with a lot of room. The master bedroom is much larger than many comparable properties. The maintenance staff is the best. We have a large salt water pool, sand volleyball court and playground.Review from Apartments.com

August 4, 2015Really like living at the Woodbrook Apartments. Husband and I have been here over a year and really enjoy living at this very clean and quite place. If anything has ever broke down the maintenance people have been there super quick to fix it. Price is decent except the only downside I can think of is the pet rent every month of $25, our dog is worth it though ?.Review from Apartments.com

October 5, 2014These apartments are perfect of you have pets and not have a lot of money for expensive places. The prices are reasonable for whatever room you need. It is very quiet and friendly. The landlord is even great on explaining things and very nice the way she talks. The apartments are extremely clean and home-like before you move in!! This is the place you would want. Its even in Gardendale where there is no crime rates and the location is next to the dog park !!Review from Apartments.com
