Lived here 4 years, no problems until move out
February 5, 2025We lived here for 4 years, from September 2020 until August 2024. We rented a 2-bedroom townhouse for our family of 3. Maintenance was good. The pool was a very nice feature. Unit was fine. One winter, the snow was not plowed adequately for a few months, before a responsible snow removal company was hired. Otherwise, my only major complaint is that we were charged over $500 for carpet removal upon move out. We spent several days cleaning the apartment before returning the keys and everything ...was in excellent condition. The carpet was in good condition with no damage of any kind. In Minnesota it is against the law to charge tenants for regular wear and tear of carpet. We talked to management at Woodbury Park at City Center apartments and they acknowledged that was no damage to the carpet, and that replacing carpet between tenants is their routine operating practice. In other words, management admitting breaking the law, but refused to return the money that they stole. It's not worth hiring a lawyer to get back the $500, but I wanted to at least warn other potential tenants. I wouldn't say don't rent there, we generally had no problem. September 3, 2024Nice neighborhood. Well kept and quiet. Any issues are taken care of right away. An example would be out garage door opener wasn’t working like it should. June 20, 2024It’s been very pleasant living here so far. Apart from the cigarette stains on the balcony, the overly sensitive smoke detectors, and the weak dishwasher, and the very hard water, and the bathroom door falling off it’s hinges, all the utilities work just fine and are in proper condition! The community here seems nice and I really enjoy the view from my window. The pool space is great and the maintenance crew does a lovely job and the staff is friendly and helpful.Property Manager Responded

June 17, 2024As a former home owner - i was apprehensive to rent again . Woodbury Park at City Center townhome rentals has not disappointed me ! Very quiet community ! Pets are welcomed ! The management team is professional, and kind! The maintenance staff are equally, SMART , knowledgeable, very responsive and FRIENDLY ! There is pool and updated work out gym !
