We are a pet friendly community with a wonderful dogpark allowing both dogs and cats. Limit of 2 pets under 30 lbs. Woodcrest Estates is conveniently located near shopping and the popular downtown area of Port Jefferson, which boasts the Long Island ferry, the Long Island Sound, yacht clubs, and some great shopping. They also have a great farmers market on Sundays from Memorial Day through October. Woodcrest Estates is a non-smoking residential community.

Been here a little over 6 months. Maintenance is terrible. Heat was not working. I was told to get a space heater and asked how much heat do you need? Now it gets hot the AC can't get my apartment below 80 degrees. Told by office they tested it and it's working just fine. lol. My dryer was clogged from never cleaning the vent. My sink did not drain. My bathtub squeaks every time I take a step in the shower because they didn't install a base under the tub. One window pulled out of the frame when ...
I tried to open it.
The apartments are 25 years old and have not been maintained for years. Maybe I just got a lemon. That's how I feel. If it was a car I would sue the dealer to take it back.

I am somewhat new to the community. (10 months). I am extremely happy here. The staff is very friendly & addresses all issues asap. The grounds are nice & very well lit at night. I feel very safe walking my dog at night. Also everyone I’ve met in the community is very friendly also. Looking forward to having many happy years here.

Cozy Apartment, the closest you'll come to owning your own home. This 55 development boasts a clubhouse with a gym, computer room, pool table, library and an outdoor pool. Walking distance to shopping, post office and diners. It's also pet friendly. The grounds are well kept and give the feeling of serenity and a quiet atmosphere. A nice place to call "home".
