Best in class place to call home!
August 23, 2023I have lived at Woodlake for two years now. I’ve lived in communities in Alexandria Virginia, Green Bay Wisconsin, Chicago Illinois and Woodlake is by far the best place I’ve had the pleasure of staying. The staff are like family, they go above and beyond to make this place a home. They constantly organize events, arrange for food trucks to stop by (great because it’s here when I get off work) which is immensely convenient. Woodlake is an outstanding place to call home!
October 12, 2021My wife and I lucked into finding Woodlake Apartments, but what an amazing experience it has been. The complex is set off quietly off the main road and building layouts are ideal with woods surrounding the perimeter. In addition, the facilities are well taken care of. It has a great pool and I benefited from the workout rooms. However, what really has made the stay so outstanding is the wonderful people. The entire staff are so incredibly personable and caring. It doesn't matter what issue arises ...they are quick to rectify and they are always engaging. Because we had a dog that needed walking twice a day we got to know so many residents and absolutely loved how friendly everyone was. Creating a great experience usually requires special sauce and the Woodlake Team has it. I recommend (and have to many) that if you are looking for a great place to live you won't find a better place in Illinois!Property Manager Responded

Great place to live!
December 28, 2017I've been living at Woodlake for about a year and a half and I absolutely love it. The office staff are super nice, friendly, and helpful. They always greet me by name and are interested in how you are doing. They've also been great to work with and helped me resolve some issues I had when I was moving in quickly and efficiently. I love my apartment! It isn't one of the updated units but it is still wonderful. I'm on the third floor and have vaulted ceiling which do wonders for making the place ...seem more open and spacious. The bathroom and closets are huge. The community is nice and the property management company is doing a lot to make it even more beautiful. The location is convenient for me as I take the tollway to work. However, there is a lack of convenient grocery stores and quick food options around - that's probably my only complaint. WE LOVE WOODLAKE APARTMENTS!
November 27, 2017We've been to other apartments before moving to Woodlake Apartments in Gurnee. We had a decent stay in our previous apartments but when we saw and experienced living here, we clearly saw the difference between having a place to sleep in and a place you can call a home. We have been staying here since October 2016 and we couldn't be any happier! Not only is property well-kept, but also the staff and maintenance are all highly commendable! They have the best customer service! It's true that staying ...here is not cheap BUT you really get your money's worth. It's safe, quiet, and in the middle of everything we need making it very accessible for us. If you are looking for a place to live in here in Gurnee, we highly recommend Woodlake Apartments. Rent goes up and up but service hits new low
September 13, 2017So glad I moved out. This place keeps raising rent and you get nothing for it. The office manager is fabulous at not helping. They are very nice to you when you are looking at renting the unit. After that be prepared to only be treated like a rent check. The maintenance staff is wonderful. They are nice and do everything they can to help you. Wish the office staff took notes from them. Yes the grounds are nice but with the rent prices going up and up not worth it. If you do move in, plan ...on hearing your neighbors talk, walk around and doing other things when you are trying to sleep. Also more people live in these apartments that are originally there. You pay the fees upfront but after that anyone can be "visiting" your apartment for as long as you like and nothing is done about it. If you are desperately wanting white cabinets, granite counter tops, and fancy appliances then move in here but be expected to pay a LOT in rent. Woodlake Apartments in Gurnee, Illinois
October 10, 2015I love living here! The staff here are amazing, helpful and accommodating. The maintenance staff are fast and friendly too. The apartment is very updated and clean and in a great location for restaurants, shops, bars and entertainment. The community is great for anyone who has a pet and there is a huge wooded area here. We even have a fenced in dog park! The convenience of having a gym, onsite parking and a pool are super valuable. Some other amenities include a club house, garages, ...spacious closets, patios or balconies, picnic areas and biking/hiking trails. Apartment features include air conditioning, dishwasher, vaulted ceilings, refrigerator, washer/dryer, gas fireplaces and are handicap accessible. September 24, 2015This is how we feel about Woodlake Apartments in Gurnee. iL. We have called Woodlake Apartments home for the past three years. We have a Two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Great kitchen, gas appliances, Stackable Washer & Dryer, and Dog friendly. We take full advantage of the Fitness Room and the heated Pool!!! The Staff is very personal and Professional.
