Not well built.
March 1, 2019So like most large developments, this one was obviously rushed. The bldgs are not properly insulated or sealed. During the summer you will be spending extra on AC because it escapes from the living room to the the garage and other rooms. In the winter it's almost impossible to keep the townhouse at a proper temp. I lived their for a year, we had things break left and right on us. The dishwasher never worked properly so we hand washed everything. Then the dishwasher would back up or leak, it would ...stink up the kitchen. Our furnace went out at the beginning of winter, had to replace the whole thing, only because the water heater leaked into it and fried the thing. I'd say on average we would of called the maintenance guy once a month. Some of the things we just lived with. The electrical work in the house was pretty janky at times. In the garage only one outlet worked. In my bedroom one of the 3 outlets never seemed to want to work. One of our banisters just broke for no reason, and I mean the fabricated metal part broke, the part that hooks to the wall and the wood. Just snapped while lightly using it. Now the staff there is great, never had to much trouble with them. They were respectful. Although when we were trying to set up a time for them to inspect the town house when we were leaving, they were a no show. I waited all day and took time off work, when I called you could hear them all smoking and joking in the background and said no were not coming today. So that was my experience there.
