They charge unjustified “damage” fees when you leave

Horrible experience overall with communication from the leasing office.
It seems that during my 1 year lease, the office changed staff several times.
I asked the office employees to provide me guidelines for mounting my TV and running wires behind the wall. I was told that I could hide wires as long as it was done with the use of an electrical cover . When I moved out I got an excessive fee for this even though I hired a handy man to fill in the small holes that were used to mount the TV.

I asked into the charges I was told to talk to someone in billing who isn’t located at the apartment location.
This person had no clue about the previous conversation I had and kept sending me emails that didn’t make sense in regards to my dispute.
I even took photos and video when I left the apartment. It’s as if they are looking to charge leaving residents incredible amounts of money for concerns that I were brought up and discussed with management.
I highly recommend looking somewhere else or preparing for a high bill when you decide to terminate your lease. This is ridiculous
