Bad Deal
July 31, 2025My initial interaction with Skyy at Yardly Artisan Lake Homes was great—professional, smooth, and welcoming—which made me excited to move in. But once Skyy left, things fell apart. Communication with the office, especially Rudi, was consistently poor—calls and emails went unanswered, lease amounts kept changing without explanation, and entry instructions for my confirmed move-in time never came. Despite being assured multiple times I could move in the evening before my lease started, I was denied ...access last minute, causing me to cancel the move entirely and lose money on movers, deposits, and more. Rudi’s unprofessional response and the management’s lack of accountability made the whole situation emotionally and financially draining. Promised perks like a free garage and a rent discount were never honored properly. After reading similar reviews, I realized my experience wasn’t unique. Yardly at Artisan Lakes is poorly managed, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m currently exploring legal options to recover what I lost.Property Manager Responded

No communication
May 15, 2025The homes are cute, but were clearly rushed—resulting in many poorly done features. Ours, a brand-new unit, came with cracked tiles, faulty outlets, unsealed windows, misaligned doors, and a kitchen sink that leaks straight into the cabinet. Pipes weren’t fitted correctly, so we’ve had multiple leaks. The sliding door shows daylight when closed—clearly missing insulation or caps. Closet rods in every unit collapsed because of weak hardware. Paint peels off in sheets when using Command strips ...because it was applied over drywall dust. Maintenance notices are vague or nonexistent—sometimes saying workers will enter sometime “next week” (illegal), and often no one even shows. Once, three large men entered my home with no notice and filmed everything while I was alone. No heads-up. No consent. Completely inappropriate. You can’t reach the front office—calls and emails go unanswered. One staff member is especially rude, though others are pleasant. The management company also ignores concerns. Increasing pot smoke in the area means we can't open windows without the smell filling our home. Trash is a nightmare. Dumpsters are constantly overflowing, reeking, and surrounded by thick, black oil from leaking service trucks—you can’t avoid stepping in it. Exterior maintenance is nonexistent—no pressure washing, no consistent pest control. We’ve had roaches, ants, and even mice, which I’ve never experienced before. Most of our neighbors have too. Parking beyond your one assigned space is nearly impossible—guest or second car? Good luck. Many units still show visible hurricane damage with no repairs made. Events are announced the same day, often just hours before they start. Included internet is unreliable, dropping out frequently and making streaming difficult. Don’t bother calling—no one will answer. Noise is usually low, unless someone pulls up blasting bass at 2 a.m., or you’re near the busy front road, which keeps getting louder.Property Manager Responded

December 23, 2024I moved from West Coast to Yardley without seeing it. I had my son and daughter-in-law check it out as they know what I like. They said it was perfect for me. Rudi and Katie were always available for all my questions via phone prior to me signing. The helpfulness of both of them going over and above to choose my unit and the entire process was fantastic. When I arrived I love the beautiful community, and the small apartment homes. It is great to have your own space. They are absolutely ...beautiful!
